The service I received today from The team at Frontline Safety can only be described as outstanding. I rang first thing in the morning with a failed O2 meter and spoke to Sharron who handled the call with complete professionalism, I arrived at the site to be greeted by Sharron and passed to their engineer Jamie who diagnosed the issue repaired the unit without fuss he informed me of the reason for failure quoted me on the repair. Great service I would highly recommend.

I bought two Honeywell BW Solo CO monitors for my two airplanes. One which I bought in January works fine but the other says battery flat. I bought batteries from RS and replaced it and it still says battery flat. I contacted Frontline Safety who informed me that I have invalidated the warranty by changing the battery and that I should return it and they will quote me for a repair. How on earth do you invalidate a warranty changing a removable battery?? I looked on the Honeywell site and it says that I have a two year warranty so I will return it to Honeywell and make a complaint about Frontline Safety. I would advise not to use this company and I will not again. The support person was hostile in all communication. Avoid them in my opinion. The measure of a good company is how they deal with a problem and this was a 0/10 experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. As advised from your correspondence with our Managing Director and Service Team, it's difficult to diagnose specific issues remotely. In some cases, physical inspection is required (as in this instance), mainly because these are lifesaving devices and when a customer has attempted a repair and self-diagnosis. You attempted a repair on the device and fitted a non-approved battery, invalidating the ATEX certification and potentially the warranty. We are legally bound to return warranty items directly to the manufacturer, and they notify us if they are within warranty cover. Our engineer simply advised that not following the process within the manual would limit the chances of Honeywell upholding the warranty. We do not charge for warranty work, nor do we have any influence on an item being covered under warranty. Your safety and the instrument's integrity is our utmost priority. As advised by our Managing Director and the manufacturer's user manual, the instrument should be fully calibrated after battery replacement to ensure compliance. We are a master Service Centre for Honeywell, and our Engineers are trained to support end users with their equipment. I understand you are frustrated, and our Team have done everything we can to advise the next steps of the RMA process. As you declined to return the monitor for inspection, it's difficult to support you further. It's an important point to make to all customers: please read the manual carefully, and if in doubt, please call our manufacturer-trained professionals, and we'll be happy to help as always. Have now placed two separate order with Frontline Safety and both experiences have been straightforward and hassle free. Appreciated that Caitlyn reached out to ensure we had received the first order. Used the live chat with Stewart with my second order to check that item was compatible with previous order and checking on lead times. Extremely helpful with quick responses. Would 100% recommend and use again
