“One of my close friends in Canada was seeing this young lady in London, UK - a relationship that blossomed over a span of two years. Found out a week before his departure to the UK that he intends to marry her in a civil ceremony in London, with his sister and husband who are currently residing in London as acting witnesses to this event.. all this before an official wedding takes place in Canada, complete with church ceremony and reception. Felt compelled to seek out methods of sending out a celebratory drink from Canada, however FedEx and UPS both proved to be extremely expensive for overnight/3 day international deliveries.. after a few minutes of Googling, found out about DrinksDirect. I must admit I was apprehensive at first, however those worries were squashed when I received continuous updates on my order, as when it was being processed, loaded onto the truck, and delivered - complete with tracking number. My friend's sister received the bottle of Veuve Clicqout, which was presented to the new husband and wife at the completion of their civil ceremony on Monday September 2, 2013. Received a surprised/shocked call from my good friend, who was very touched - and impressed at the timing of it all. I could not have done this without DrinksDirect - Cheers to your wonderful, speedy, and courteous service! You have yourself a repeat customer - 5000km away!”

“As above, but when I tried to phone the local Depot first thing, at about 0730, on the scheduled Delivery day to narrow down the Delivery window time of 10 hours between 0730 and 1730 it was impossible!!! I could have gone there to pick it up myself far quicker at 8 am and then had the rest f the day to do as I pleased. Another neighbour would not have had to take it in for me as my original neighbour had to go out at very short notice. If there could be either a morning OR afternoon delivery timescale for delivery that would have been much better. A TEN hour spread to wait in for a parcel is far too long, especially if you have to take time off work as well, and it then does not arrive until late in the day. A request: A morning OR afternoon delivery schedule please as I will possibly use your service again in the future.”

“We were looking for some miniatures to give as favours at our Silver Wedding Party (personalised labels printed elsewhere) and, not being much in the way of drinkers ourselves, didn't know where to start. Found this site through an online search and are really glad we did! After a few price comparisons Drinkdirect came out tops and the service was second to none. Ordered late one evening and arrived the day after next. We're just old enough to remember when miniature bottles were glass but at least the plastic ones are safer to give out. Many thanks Drinkdirect, we will be definitely be recommending you to family and friends.”
