“Such a brilliant experience we’re having with Dragonfly products! From the lovely staff, to their retail provision, with great advice & products, too the two hydro sessions we’ve had with Herbie, our 18mth old working golden retriever! I know it may seem crazy to take your dog for a swimming lesson & we wouldn’t have even known it was a thing.. but it is and it’s been noticeably so enriching and confidence building for him!
He’s a fit and healthy teenager, but just wasn’t confident around water but we could tell he really wanted to get in, plus we wanted to know, he had at least experienced swimming, in case he ever just fell in & panicked (I’m not very brave when it comes to rescue missions 🫣😆)
… so when we realised Dragonfly had a hydro therapy pool, we thought we’d give it a go? We’re so glad we did & we didn’t even get wet (apart from a few splashes standing next to the pool as we watched & cheered him on 👏🏼) Cerys put her dry suit on and with a smile, fun and confidence introduced Herbie to the water, he’s had 2 sessions already and his confidence has massively improved and he’s starting to really enjoy his time in the pool. He was so excited when he saw Cerys the second time & couldn’t wait for the session to begin!
You feel in very good hands with Cerys, she is confident, fun, very knowledgable & experienced in dogs hydrotherapy on many levels (recreational, conditioning & for therapy & rehabilitation)
To top it all, he gets a lovely shampoo and bath afterwards too, all included!
We discussed his physique and general condition, which is just as it should be! He’s fit and healthy, with the added bonus now of strengthening his joints, which swimming is so good for (just like for us!)
Now he’s experienced swimming in this safe and fun environment, he’s become more confident in and around water & now, if ever he needed hydro therapy for any health condition, he’d be familiar with it and not phased in the slightest!
I honestly think, all round, this is such a beneficial and fun activity to do with your dog and I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who fancies giving it a go!
… plus you can just do one session or pay as you go, or pay a reduced price if you’d like too or need more sessions x I’d say, from our experience, this is great value for money & we’re so glad we did this for Herbie, you’ll love it too x”
“Can’t recommend this place enough, after being recommended by my friend, I took my cocker spaniel puppy for a 1 hour puppy session where she played with other puppies and she absolutely loved it, afterwards she went on to have a groom and came out looking so fresh and tidy. I will definitely be returning.”
“I recently bought a. braided pizzle and a large bag of beef tripe sticks
for my rescue dog , I didn't know if she would. be interested in them. but she loves them the tripe does have a strong smell but problem solved. by putting them in a lock n lock container as for when she's given said treat it doesn't last long before it's gone.
Her teeth are already looking whiter and her breath has improved so much.”
