Delivery was supposed to be Friday, stayed in all day ! As morning turned to afternoon, around 4pm I decided to look at my order and tracking only to see, "something has gone wrong with your order" delivery will now be on Saturday . Thats not good enough ! An entire day wasted.

Bought steak lorne sausage and stewing steak. Stew was very good quality. The lorne was disgusting. Very high fat content which was obvious as soon as I saw it. Cooked 2 anyway and honestly couldn’t eat it . The whole lot went in the bin. Worst lorne I have ever had . Sorry Campbells

Ordered a 5kg Ham and was sent a very long, wide and thin piece that will be so hard to carve and will cook unevenly, not impressed…

Unfortunately the haggis I received was out of date. The use by date on it was the 22nd of February. I received it on the 25th. I don’t think I will risk ordering again as I don’t want the chance of getting out of date products again.

Disappointing- ordered brisket, block of sliced Lorne sausage and ox cheek. Brisket was good no problems. Lorne sausage isn’t great has a rather strange unpleasant chewy texture which never experienced before in all the years I’ve been eating square sausage - won’t reorder. I haven’t cooked the ox cheek but the website says serves 5 I doubt the one sent to me (0.43kg) would serve 2.

meat was good but because if the slices that was made to the top of the Pork belly on the skin fat which wasn’t necessary at all, usually the fat skin is left alone but the butcher mad 5 score lines down the fat skin & because of this i was unable to make crispy pork belly & the fat was leaking out of the top of the fat ruining my dish for New years so for that reason i wont be back because last time i come here for pork belly they was no scores down the meat fat & i had really nice crispy pork.. unsatisfied.

Unfortunately the 2 cornfed chickens I ordered were off by the time we were ready to use them. Delivered on 21st and off by the 25th ...use by date was 26th. The pork shoulder and stornoway black pudding were delicious however

I wish I didn't have to write an unfavorable review, however, in good conscience, I cannot sing praises on the quality of the meat. I wanted to give at least 3 stars as the ordering and delivery service was great, but 3 stars indicate the overall experience was acceptable, and that is not an accurate description of our experience. I had ordered a rib roast in the past for a holiday dinner and it was superb. Because of that experience, I decided to order that again this year for our family holiday get-together. This year the meat was tough with as much gristle as meat. There were small areas where the meat was tender, as it should be, but the other areas that were not gristle were chewy like a rump steak. One may try to attribute this to "operator error", however, I have prepared these on multiple occasions, plus I utilized a meat thermometer, rested the meat, etc., so I know how to properly prepare this cut of meat. The meat was very disappointing, definitely not "restaurant quality" and I would not take the chance ordering from here again.

They saying goes you only get what you pay for bought the 4 breakfast packs (Bargin) Not we’ll except the Black pudding, Haggis and Bacon were lovely Square sausage was terrible it was like frozen stuff out freezer shops both sets of links not the best either so all Sausages were poor Quality in my eyes here’s how bad they are am thinking of binning them because I don’t think there even good enough for BBQ sorry and your only getting a 2 because of the Haggis n Bkack pudding & Bacon

I tried 2 slices of sausage which were loaded with gristle and very unpleasant. I'm hoping that the whole order isn't like that. The pies are nice.

I found it extremely difficult to order the meat, but I got there in the end. Infact I saw your add on here about some lamb chunks and went two order two lots of it, but it the counter would not change from 1 to a 2. As much as I tried nothing would change. So I then left it. I must say that meat you sent last Thursday looks delicious, although as yet have not tried any as now all put in my freezers. Please let me know if and when you get your counter to work so I may order some lamb. Thank you

Disappointed to learn your "Scotch Pies" are supplied by a Glasgow firm, namely Pars Foods and to be honest, they ain't great. That's it

My only gripe is over the delivery. The meat box was due to be despatched on Friday and delivered on the Saturday, the box did not arrive till the Sunday afternoon which meant it spent 3 days in the delivery system over the hottest weekend of the year. On opening the box all the ice packs had melted completely and although they still felt cold and the meat still looked ok, it did cause us a bit of concern. Only tried the scotch pies and the black pudding so far, both were excellent.

Ordered a number of different products including Lorne Sausage, Scotch Pies and Haggis for a taste of home as I left Scotland over 20 years ago. I've only tasted the Scotch pies so far but they were pretty bland and tasteless. Then I discovered they were now made with Beef instead of Mutton or Lamb, you don't get the same flavour with Beef and therefore not as tasty as I remembered.

Used to be great. Their online service is shockingly poor. The fourth time I have tried it. Just don't know where to start. All previous feedback was ignored and fell on deaf ears. Deciding to give them another try 16 months later was just as bad. All in all, don't order from them. Save yourself. The (now) distinctly average product is overpriced and takes far too long to be delivered. Courier couldn't care less. Just don't do it, can't say I didn't warn you. Better than supermarket meat, hence 2 stars. But otherwise avoid them like the plague!!

Very disappointed with order !Barnsley chops cut too thinly Lorne Sausage like cheap burgers Gammon and Cumberland ring sausages O.K was looking forward to good quality .Arrived on time and well packed.
