“When I went online to order I specifically ordered 2 joints of 1.5 kilos in weight. There was a sound reason for this. The meat is for Christmas day. I received 2 joints of 1 kilo meaning I now have to buy more to cover my guests. There will not be enough. The very reason I ordered more than I needed. I emailed you and was ignored. Not impressed. It matters not that the incorrect order was delivered as they said. When it's short of what you expect, it's already failed.”

“The mini steak pies are so devoid of filling, an odd lump of dry meat and a smear of gravy in a thick pastry crust, NOT GOOD. Tasting notes very misleading, but the dog eats the pies.”

“I and my wife class ourselves as Lorne sausage experts so to speak so I believe I can give a good account of this product. We found it to be quite tough and chewy. The rest of the sausage is now in the bin for us it was that bad. Your mileage may differ but for us it’s awful hence the bin. The meat arrived on time very well packaged so no problem there it’s just not for us. We are both in our late sixties and have only ever had worse and that was Morrisons frozen square slice.”

“So disappointed! Expect a butcher to cook and slice his own hams and gammons. Expect a butcher to make his own pies. Expect a butcher to cure and slice own bacon not use Danish imports the way cheap supermarkets do. This butcher simply acts as a middle man, this is not butchery as I know it as my local butcher does all these things. Very very poor!!”

“Sausage nice scotch pies nice mini steak pies terrible it's a pie case with dry gravy no steak if Campbell's gets them from parrs bakery then they should change to a different one”
