“It all arrived safely last Friday and is now safely stored in my freezer. To give you some background as to why I ordered from you, I was born in 1950 in Glasgow. My father, Robert Stitt was a 3rd generation master butcher with his family shop at 12 Merkland Street, Partick. He made his own fabulous sausages and became quite famous in Glasgow for them. I started working there from age 12, working weekends and school holidays. In 1966, due to illnes, he had to sell the shop to Willie Bishop and it was renamed Bishop's Butchers. Bishops finally closed the shop in March of this year. It is posted on facebook. We moved South to St Albans, Hertfordsire and I got into catering, working in Hotels. I always had a dream of joining the police and in January 1973 I joined Kent Police. I served for 40 years. I am now 75 and retired. I live quietly on Romney Marsh, Kent. I havee just eaten a slice of your square slice sausage, fried in lard and eaten in a crusty roll. It was delicious and brought back many happy memories of my childhood. “Thank you, all on time, pies in excellent condition. We had a lovely scotch pie supper and a filling bowl od soup, made with the ham hocks. Xmas on the door step, look forward to placing order for xmas food. Excellent quality and reasonably priced. Peter”

“Scotch pies difficult to get around here or in the shops . They are so helpful if you can’t make a full meal. It has meat in it all you need are the vegetables. They haven’t changed much from when I was a child growing up in Strathclyde. My family like them.”

“I was introduced to Campbells through their Haggis, which is the best Haggis I have tasted. This was our first order and it arrive in perfect condition - all the way to London - having been packaged very carefully. We had our Ayrshire Lorne sausage with some tattie scones and brown sauce - deliciously dense meat. The Scotch pies were a wonderful revelation! A pie which you simply taste the pastry and the meat - no extraneous flavours - lovely texture and flavour! Will definitely be ordering again.”
