“This was a gift for my friend's newborn. I chose this company because they offered gift wrapping. I selected and paid for the gift wrapping option only to be told by after the order had shipped that it was only available on certain books according to some reference number. How was I to possibly know that? So my poor friend received the gift unwrapped and there was nothing I could do as it had already shipped. I also got notifications from a company called Low Cost Books (or something similar can't remember exactly) who apparently fulfilled my order which is a pretty embarrassing look for a gift. Never again.”
“Perfect!! Absolutely first class service. Bought a book series everyone else had sold out of for a great price. Books arrived in a couple of days and were very well packaged to avoid any damage. Highly recommended company!”
“I hastily ordered Christmas presents on the early hours of the 2nd of December, just a few ticks away from the end of the Black Friday sale. A collection of Winnie The Pooh collection and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' box set. Great, I thought, the prices were amazing and it was pretty convenient. I made the order at 4 am. I quickly realised I had put the wrong eircode, but the address was correct. I quickly tried to see how to cancel my order before it got processed. I can't see an option to delete it. It's okay, I think to myself, I'll just contact them and tell them about the mistake. This has happened to me before on another site and it was easily resolved. I sent an email since in the 'need help?' section I couldn't find a number to call later in the day. The whole day goes by and at 11 pm I receive an email saying that my order was being delivered, I was worried the wrong eircode was going to be a problem with the delivery. I send another email. They answered me at some point telling me they could not do anything because the order was sent, fair. But at least they give me a tracking link and say they warned the courier about it but then I'd have to check with the couriers in my country to make sure the package arrives to my house. Cool. I'll do that, it's not a problem. A week goes by it's the 10th of December, it said it should have arrived here within a week, I check the link. I have no new information aside from the fact that the courier in the UK cancelled the delivery on the 3rd of December not even a day after my order was processed. Okay so, my order got cancelled by the courier and no one tells me? Sure. I contact them asking for information on my package. Why was it cancelled? What does it mean? Where is my order? You know normal questions you'd want answered when paying for a service. I also ask for information in regards their refund process, and how it works in case I need to ask for one. Now, as you can see, I did not ask for a refund just information about it. Why do I get an email after not explaining what happened to my order but saying that a refund is being processed manually? Why such haste, guys? I asked you to know what happened to my order, I did not ask for a refund. I send another email, I tell them they have not answered my questions, provided me zero insight into what happened to my order and why. I tell them I did not want a refund I want the books I ordered and the refund was a last option in case nothing could be done to receive my order, for some reason still to this day has not been answered. I ask them to reprocess my order with the discount I had actually bought them in, I tell them I do not want the refund I want to know what's happening to my order. No one sent me any email since. I received the refund, the minimum I could have gotten after they ignored everything I said to them multiple times. So, yeah. Books2doors? I don't think so. As far as I am concerned this is a scam site with fake reviews:)”
