About Bell Group:

Whilst we are considered a market leader, our Group remains a family owned and operated company; George Bell, our Chairman and Founder, set up his own commercial painting and decorating company in April 1984 – Collins and Bell Ltd – operating throughout the central belt of Scotland. Since that time the Group has grown through acquisitions as well as organically; this has resulted in developing a strong network of services, which have been designed to integrate on a national, regional and local basis. Our key strength as a business is our team which we have developed over the years; this is partly thanks to the comprehensive training programme put in place for all employees and our commitment to respecting individuals.

“Just had my bungalow exterior window frames and doors painted after a mix up with the white gloss they came back and rectified all the gloss work and the two guys went above and beyond to make sure everything was rectified to a high standard, this job was undertaken in Lurgashall and was part of a Hyde housing program in our street,I would recommend this company and my thanks to Charlie and his work colleague for their hard work! 👍😀”

“Everything was as planned. The Branch Manager & Operations Manager both arrived on day one to ensure the plan was relayed to the work force. I have a son with learning difficulties and he can become quite agitated when strangers are in the property. I called them when I found out they were coming to undertake the works and so that I could explain the situation at home. I spoke to the Manager Mark who assured me that he had the right guys for the job and that he would personally attend to oversee the works. Well, he arrived on the day before the workmen. He was with a guy called Steve and they spent a good 20 mins with my son explaining to him what they had planned for the day. My son took to them both and was really relaxed which was unusual but Mark had a way with him. The painters arrived and he had a way with them as well. It was clear to me that he had experience working with people with learning difficulties but at the same time was a true professional and had the complete respect from the workers. The job took a little longer than I'd expected but the job was a good job. My next door neighbour is a decorator and he gave the work the once over and he told me it was a really good job. I can highly recommend Bell Group Folkestone. I called their office to relay my thanks and Mark wrote to me afterwards to express his thanks for me taking the time to call the office. Wonderful from start to finish and I have also informed my landlord that they were the best contractors to attend my house in the last 20 years.”

“I represent Derby Homes, we provide council housing in Derby as well as maintenance service's to Derby City Council. We currently in the final stages of partially refurbishing a hostel for homeless adults in Derby. This has included decorating all bedrooms, and communal areas which the clients reside in, which Darren Pulfrey has provided quotations for, as well as nominating two members of staff to complete the work. The process is quite challenging as we have to decant people from their bedrooms to enable full decoration of the rooms, as well as painting in a feature wall to each room (as the rooms have been quite drab for a number of years). It has been a pleasure to work alongside Kieran & Andy during the decorating process. They have demonstrated a keen eye for a good finish, and have worked at a brisk tempo to ensure the works are completed in a timely fashion but also to a good standard. It should also be noted, that sometimes working in this type of environment can be a challenge in itself, due to the issues some residents may have. From observing Kieran & Andy they have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and show keen commitment to serving these "customers", who are often overlooked by wider society. It has been a pleasure to work with Kieran & Andy, they represent Bells brilliantly, and should be put forward for an award of some description.”
