The order took long to arrive, more than two weeks. It was delivered by Royal Mail and left in my letterbox, when I was expecting to Sign For on delivery. The coin are well packaged and great for my collection. Please use a different delivery provider. Thanks

When i have had positive balances on my account i frequently get messages saying you could not make the investment and the website for little treasurese is not particularly user friendly

Buying and selling is not that easy on the mint, needs development. Not intuitive.

Seems very slow to get your money ( 5 days) after your investment is sold back to the royal mint.....

I have for days now tried to order the Platinum Jubilee 5 quid commemorative coin. When I finally get to the payment details, they kick back the order claiming that the billing address does not match the state code. I've done everything I could but with negative results. I live in the States and have ordered numerous items from the Dickens House, HRP, National Gallery and Foyles. It was so simple -- just give them my order, delivery info and credit card number. Done! But not with the Royal Mint. I've emailed them but have heard nothing yet. Any suggestions.

2 payments were taken from my bank with no explanation on the 1st making me overdrawn then was refunded on the 6th with no explanation.

I ordered some Beatrix potter coins from the Royal Mint which started they were in stock on their website after waiting over a week for them to be delivered I phoned the Royal Mint to find out what had happened to my order as I was concerned they may have got lost in the post..to be told by the Royal Mint they are waiting for stock to arrive...so why did it state on their website they were in stock...very misleading....

I was getting bullion sovereigns until 2007, I switched to proof sets due to a few scuffed coins and had no problems until I got the 2017 proof denomination set, The £1 was faulty and I got a replacement, There were now 12 different marks on the coins. I sent them back and got a set from the post office, still not perfect but I kept them. Again this year I got my usual proof set of Sovs.(1, 1/2 1/4.) There was a large smudge on the full. I sent back for refund and have decided not to get anymore. I feel the quality control has gone despite the trail of the pyx.

Overcharged twice no apologies. Ordered coins and never received however still waiting for a refund since October . Worse service ever. Now another order paid for still not received. Customer service no help .

Ordered coins 6th Dec have only arrived 10th Jan answer to my email weeks later . Phone advisor couldn’t even say when I would get them ! Terrible service

Many positive reviews from anonymous accounts. Interestingly, the accounts from real people describe this organisation as appalling. The staff are extremely unlikeable and their approach to handling complaints is completely unacceptable. One's bank card will be debited immediately but the coins will not be dispatched. Then some rude, obnoxious staff member will spout some nonsense in an attempt to excuse their incompetence. This entire operation needs to be shut down.

Warning, do not invest in Royal Mint precious metals through your pension! I've been waiting 4 weeks on the Royal Mint returning the funds to my pension account. They keep making excuses each time

I bought coins and I transferred more money than was needed just to be sure. That Was in January. My order arrived (nothing to complain about here). But then I wanted the rest my money refunded. Always the same answer: request received, it will take 3-5 working days. I have sent excerpts from two different accounts. They couldn't verify the first, then they needed the second in English, then they needed a photo of my ID, back and front, to verify me. Of course I did not send my ID. I sent them an email to warn them to give me my money back until the end of last week (like, you know, transfer the money into the account it came from). Not only did they not do it, but this is my current status, with zero available in the royal mint account: Your Account Status is: Inactive Your Investment account is currently being reviewed by our customer team. We may need to contact you to request additional identity documents and to provide feedback. Thank you for your patience.

They take your money quickly enough. They don't tell you that compliance checks will hold things up for weeks, they don't tell you that cancellation is not possible until afterwards and they don't tell you that they have so many complaints in their system that they're running two months late dealing them all. Definitely avoid, it's your money they're keeping all this time and you'll have nothing to show for it.

I HAVE RANG FROM AUSTRALIA TWICE IN 2 DAYS, STILL THE SAME PROBLEM, I CANNOT LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT, THAT MEANS I CANT CHECK MY ORDERS AND CANNOT BUY ANYTHING. WHAT ARE THEY DOING???????

Like most others, I’ve had exactly the same experience. Immediately the money for silver coins being deducted, no confirmation, no coins and, almost 3 weeks later waiting for my refund. Please, do not buy from this company. There are far more efficient and effective companies available.

ordered a gold bar on 2nd feb 23 got order number you took my money , nothing then showed on my account . e mailed got no responce till 6th feb saying order had not gone through so why take my money . told would get a refund 5 days later no refund WHY when you took mu money immediately

Terrible order fulfillment. I am still waiting after six months for a simple order. You’d be better off making the coins yourself. DO NOT ORDER FROM ROYAL MINT save your time and money.
