“I got my Husband a small bundle as a gift. He enjoyed the beers that I bought, bibble and under the sun, he still has to try Lally wants a cracker and he loved the pint glass. It was really disappointing though that Everstone was unavailable. Also, where have Wild and Ninkasi gone? They were the best by far.”
“Sadly I feel this is the last semblance of the root of Wild Beer. You were iconic in your prime but I don't see much new innovative 'wild beer' on offer. Hopefully you have a cellar and future full of aging wilds and I am wrong.”
“Delivery communication was a little lax and it took 5 days to arrive. I was also unsure whether it was en route for a while and had to check the order had gone through.
When the delivery did arrive it was packed in a cardboard box with these horrible sticky polysterene pellets, which left a taste on the cans and spoiled the flavour for my guests.”
“I ordered pogo fruit ale. Passionfruit ale delivered.
Told fruit ale no longer manufactured.
So no replacement
Looked on line.
Only fruit ale on the site, no passionfruit and my delivery has only a few days left on best buy.
All lies.
These guys keep going bankrupt. I wonder why!”
“Used to be a great brewery but hard to be positive about what it has become, seemingly now just brewing a few core beers at Curious rather than the interesting beers they used to.”
“Ordered a selection of beers but was disappointed that six of the cans had an expiry date of less than 4 weeks. This was not mentioned when ordering and I believe that this is very poor.”
“I absolutely love Everstone, I bought a £60 mixed case, I couldn't just fill the box with Everstone and the BBQ sause which is also lovely. I had to add sour beers, which I thought I'd give them ago. But I thought they were disgusting it was like drinking lemon juice, I had to pour them down the sink. The mixed case should allow you to pick what you want.”
“Love that thewildbeerco are still making exciting beers, like their range of sours. I worry that the whole craft beer movement is being drawn more and more by market forces to develop an excessive number of hard to differentiate IPAs and pale ales. I worry that TWBC don't seem to be an exception. More stouts, witbier and saisons please!”
