“I am looking to buy a spa and whilst the magazine gives information (provided by the manufacturers no doubt) it doesn’t provide opinion. Any other ‘what’ or ‘whxih’ publication tests and gives verdicts. So I didn’t find anything I couldn’t have found from suppliers”

“well done after having a spa for 12 yrs time for a change ..I sent off for the mag and in a couple of weeks it came via royal mail.Ithe mag was great from cover to cover ,i didnt take long to see how things have change in the spa world.After a very short time and long read we went out and got a new one (local dealer here in blackpool)after reading all the fantastic artical wow what a grea help in size type and price ....no problem at all sorting things out it arrives in 2 weeks . thank you all for magic mag and all those tips inside on all the details to be thought off . well done . derek tucker from blackpool”

This (the advertising proportion) is significantly below the average for all magazines which is generally between 40% and 50% of pagination. As we keep WhatSpa? magazine free for consumers to read, we clearly have to include advertising to cover magazine production costs and postage and packing but I hope this clarifies the position for you and other readers. “Good expansive information,, could you confirm all the spa company’s featured in the mag are tested and approved by yourselves ? I liked the heat pump feature, but iam still not sure of the way forward, like everyone I like to be frugal by still unsure of the pros and cons Thanks S Haigh”

“I liked the idea of covering all different manufacturers products how ever was quite disappointed there was no coverage/reveiws of off grid hot tubs that don't require electricity or cannnot have electricity supplied ie solar panel supplied energy via storage batteries or directly. There wasn't even any mention/comparison of wood fired hot tubs (off grid versions) even in combination with solar power to work pumps filters if required. I am very much interested in these version as I live in the country side and would like to site my potential hot tub purchase away from the main house area without having to dig up my land to install armoured cabling. I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in solar powered electrics in combination with heat exchanger and wood fired tubs. Dissappointed there was no mention of all alternatives for such an proposed impartial magazine where people could make informed choices with the full knowledge of what is out there for anyones partivular circumstances.”
