“Hi Whatspa Please find below review that’s been left for 1 of your recommendations. This does NOT relate to Whatspa, but we have been using your advice. This is with regard to Hotspring Southwest and Wales: WARNING!! - do business with this company at your peril... I don't normally write reviews, but I need to let people know about this company! As a previous hot spring owner, we returned with every intention of buying another hot tub from this company. However, despite paying £12,995 for a used tub (the 'Rolls Royce' is what we were told - & that it would be overhauled/refurbished 'like new'), the tub finally arrived with different coloured panels to what was ordered, because the 'originals' had been damaged. Several weeks later on the second attempt, delivery was made of an item that was frankly, in a completely sub standard condition. I subsequently cancelled the order on the same day (17/08/26) as I had lost confidence in the company & the product. We were told there was a 28 day refund policy in place, but despite numerous phone calls & emails, I simply had no update/communication from the company whatsoever. Fortunately, I had paid a deposit using a credit card for protection (& the main payment by bank transfer). Only after a threat of using the credit card company to raise a dispute, miraculously a 'Rebecca Collins' responded advising that payment had been returned to my credit card & my main payment was to follow.... Indeed, my deposit had been returned - but only what I paid on my credit card! However, the main payment at time of writing (& again, despite numerous emails/phone calls), still hasn't. Needless to say, there's been no response whatsoever to my emails... I will hasten to add that we are now well outside of '28 days' (they've had all the money since the 20/07/26). I have now involved the credit card company to formally reclaim the main payment under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 & the facts are quite damning..... Please, don't make the same mistake that I did & whatever you do, don't believe a word this company tell you!!”

“Their magazine is informative and up to date. Should be mandatory reading before putting a deposit down on a hot tub. Very helpful sections on installation, selection considerations, and top 10 in various categories. The too 10 images could have had a side view as well as top view and a section on wood burners would be helpful but that's just to find a critique...”

“The world of spas and hot tubs was a complete mystery to myself. I thought I had an idea what I wanted but on receiving a copy of WhatSpa I realised that I really did not understand what I need or wanted. The magazine is incredibly useful for determining what I am looking for in a spa, and also gives me a good idea of the budget I will need. I was pleasantly surprised that my initial budget was not so far removed, but in terms of the information I now have I am much better informed what will work for me and also what is required in terms of making the spa work.”
