“I was very happy with the pack.and will order again but didnt get pack i ordered wanted the 34.99 pack not what cane as i was missing 3pk chicken no.black pudd but got 1pk meat balls.and.1 extra mince”

“I enjoy the skinni range of products and they suit my diet. There is no compromise when it comes to taste nor texture, lots of low fat ranges can be rubbery in texture not these. I have also bought meat for roasting and found it good quality. To top it all my order was delivered well with in estimated times. In fact I was contacted to say it could be delivered a day early as a driver was in the area but unfortunately it did not suit. I would certainly recommend butcher.”

“Staff extremely helpful and friendly. A pleasure visiting the shop. Food of excellent quality especially the onion pies which are to die for. Would not think of using another butcher/fishmonger”

“I ordered sausage slice, steak pie & pork sausage. I thought that the sausage slice was good - although my husband, who is from Glasgow, felt that it wasn't spicy enough. The steak in the pie was lovely and tender, but a little salty for me. The pork sausage was rather disappointing, I expected something a bit more flavoursome. The package arrived on time, the courier did not ring the door bell & left it on the doorstep, which was bad enough, but it was left on its side, which meant that the gravy from the pie started to seep out!”

“The delivery was delayed by a day, due to the courier not West Coast Foods. When it arrived however, everything was fine. Haven't tried any of the products yet, but it all looks really good quality and in nice packaging! Looking forward to trying them all.”

“Quality of meat and chicken excellent. Went into Prestwick shop to collect and the two butchers were so helpful and great advert for your friendly butcher. The shop was spotless and the array of meats and fish beautifully presented and looked very fresh. Well done Westcoast, highly recommend you.”

“I love the products but I order on line and my latest order was put in on the 15th of Oct for delivery on the 16th. When my order arrived I had sausages dated 14th to be consumed by the 18th. I appreciate I can freeze my order but I bought a 10 pack of slice intending to use 2 a day for the next 5 days. as it is they expire 2 days after i received them.”

Hi May, Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated as it helps us improve our business. When buying the 10 pack slice unlike the 2 pack and 4 pack this is not gas flushed and therefore the shelf life is reduced. We do state on our website that you will get a minimum or 3 days shelf life on delivery, so if it arrived on the 16th and is to be used on the 18th, then that is 3 days. I hope this clears your issue up, Alternatively if you dont want to freeze then if you buy the 4 packs then these have a min shelf life of 5 days on delivery as they are gas flushed. Anything else please let us know. Thanks Gareth
