“The Wayfairer team put together an amazing (and complex) trip to Japan that included all the popular highlights along with some super special off-the-beaten tourist path stops that showed us a different side of the country (and also accounting for a vegan diet). Highly recommend the Wayfairer team- especially if you're seeking out special experiences and want expert assistance planning a trip with a lot of moving parts/special requests!”

“Two absolutely unforgettable trips this year, one with my son, one with my daughter. Iceland and Oman! Rhian really took the time to listen to our requirements and planned superb itineraries with activities and hotels that suited us perfectly. Chanelle was a brilliant concierge once again. Wayfairer really help me to feel confident about travelling as a sole parent and being more adventurous - we made some absolutely incredible memories.”

Via a simple phone conversation they were able to design a perfect holiday for us in magical places far from the crowds of tourists. They were perfectly reactive and gave us all the right advice. “We have traveled with many of the top end travel firms. Wayfairer compares well with all of them. Josh Flatman organised both of our trips with Wayfairer to Namibia and Botswana. Excellent choice of lodges to a budget and overall exceeded expectations. Dalia as supporting concierge also excellent. If you want a bespoke trip to somewhere out of the ordinary our experience is that they deliver to a very high standard. With regard to budget, what we paid compared favourably to similar trips advertised in the UK press.”

“We wanted to travel to Argentina with our friends but did not know where to start. Our agent Lotte interviewed us, assessed our interests and customized an amazing adventure of a lifetime. All the staff at Wayfairer were very patient and caring through the planning and delivery of our trip. Prior to the trip, they gave us a website where we could review all our destination and visualize our trip. This was updated as we made changes to our itinerary. Very impressive use of technology and great service every step of the process. We won't hestitate to use Wayfairer again for future travel.”

“We explored several travel companies while planning our Kenya safari, and ultimately, we chose Wayfairer. Looking back, we couldn’t be happier with our decision! This trip was, without a doubt, the best of our lives. Our adventure included stops in Nairobi, Amboseli, and the Mara North Conservancy. From our initial interaction with Kate Kilmartin to the seamless support provided by Lorna Sseezi, Wayfairer’s team went above and beyond to make our journey unforgettable. Kate expertly handled the planning, while Lorna stayed in constant communication with us, ensuring we were well-prepared before the trip and felt supported every step of the way during it. We began our journey with two nights in Nairobi, followed by a flight to Amboseli, where we spent two nights and three days at Elerai Camp. After returning briefly to Nairobi, we flew to the Mara North Conservancy and stayed for five days and four nights at the stunning Saruni Mara. Both accommodations were exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff, as well as knowledgeable guides who enriched our experience. The wildlife sightings were beyond anything we could have imagined. We were fortunate to observe cheetahs, lions, zebras, elephants, and many more animals up close. Visiting in late May 2024 proved to be an excellent choice, as the parks were less crowded, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the magic of the safari. Overall, I cannot recommend Wayfairer highly enough. Their attention to detail and personalized service made this trip extraordinary. We’re already looking forward to planning our next adventure with them!”

“We had the most amazing adventure to Africa celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment I spoke to Aggie to start planning our trip the service was unbelievable. Aggie spoke me through ideas and budget as I didn’t know where to begin with a safari in Kenya. She sent me an itinerary and we went ahead and booked. It was a trip of a lifetime because of how Wayfairer organised it and concierge were there every step of the holiday. “After weeks of deliberating, changing dates, zoom calls, etc we finally agreed on a four week tour of Peru with Wayfairer Travel. This was superbly executed by Lotte who, through patience and expertise, put together an outstanding itinerary which we thoroughly enjoyed and could not recommend enough. The accommodations were on a superb, luxury level and a huge thanks to all our guides and drivers, who we met along each leg of the tour. Their expertise and safety at all times was faultless and we gained so much knowledge learning about the history of Peru. A special shout out to Chanelle, our designated concierge for our tour, who was on hand to assist us, should any problems occur. If anyone is thinking of touring Peru....don't hesitate, just do it!”

“Don't go anywhere else! Wayfairer Knocks it out of the park for your Safari trip of a lifetime! The moment you meet with them, they try to understand your expectations, your budget and your dream. The concierge service (Chanelle) will do their utmost to make sure you are safe, you stay at the right hotels, suggestions are made to maximize your dollar and experience and you are taken care of like a VIP from start to finish! The service and connection you will have is outstanding! I cannot wait for my next trip and I will definitely book with Wayfairer. If you are going to Kenya, make sure you do the balloon ride, do check out the giraffe centre, Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage and if you go to Diani Beach, the camel rides and glass bottom boats are incredible. “My husband and I just returned from an 18 day trip to Japan and we agree that the trip exceeded our expectations! We were very specific about our interests and the need to minimize time in the big cities and the Wayfairer was so helpful in finding the rights places for us to visit, excellent guides (so knowledgeable and fun!), and wonderful accomodations. The drivers were courteous and always on time and our trip entailed a fair amount of train travel, for which Wayfairer provided very specific instructions, making us feel so at ease. There were a few glitches, but the company was responsive in resolving them, and given the complexity of our trip, we were very happy that we were always able to reach some one promptly. We would definitely book with Wayfairer again. After having used over 5 trip arrangers over the years, they were the best.”

“My husband and I spent a wonderful vacation in Japan for our 30th anniversary. Wayfairer did an amazing job helping us make plans including selecting hotels, arranging multiple private tour guides, and figuring out logistics to go from place to place. We started off on the right foot by having an itinerary with the details of our trip as well as phone numbers and confirmation numbers at our fingertips. Upon landing in Tokyo, we were greeted by our driver who brought us to our first hotel. Over the course of our trip, we had five excellent tour guides who each brought a different and interesting aspect of the culture and history to life. We also had plenty of time on our own, with Wayfairer making excellent suggestions but also allowing room for us to explore. When we did encounter a bump in the road, we had a contact concierge who could set things back on track. We loved our time in Japan and would be happy to use Wayfairer again to help us plan future travels. We highly recommend them!”

“Our trip to Tanzania was absolutely amazing. We were met at our hotel Arusha by our driver Masangi. He was so informative and explained every step of the trip. He knew all the animals and birds species and habits. We saw so much more that expected and left us with wanting more. The travel camps were excellent. The staff at each camp greeted us with smiles and song. I am a photographer which put me in photography heaven. After 3 weeks home, I am still editing my images. “Wayfarer helped us plan 20 days of independent travel in Japan. The planning process went smoothly with several excellent recommendations to what we wanted to do. The guides were exceptional, and the lodgings much better than we hoped. We really appreciated the help the guides gave us with meeting transportation. We had a few questions pop up as we were traveling (no problems), and we always credited responses within a few hours. We felt the guidance and assistance were invaluable and worth the costs to be in our own. There were a few things we would have done differently if we did not have a guide, but that’s to be expected.”
