“Stayed in swift lodge which was brilliant with fabulous views of the lake. I was worried it might be cold in the lodge but it was really warm, in fact we turned down the thermostat. Would love to stay again”

“Lovely and clean lodge on our arrival, with a welcome package for refreshments which was very thoughtful. We loved the fact that it has a view onto the water and it was spacious. The staff was very professional and courteous, responding to our requests very promptly. We would return to the same lodge for our next holiday on the broads. Just a few drawbacks on the lodge itself: 1) Water pressure was weak hence the showers took an age to have daily. The house could do with a better water pump for the showers. 2) Toilet tissues: please provide 3-ply rolls as it is false economy to have 1-ply toilet paper rolls as people would just use 3 times as much! 3) Cooking appliances: we couldn't read the symbols on the oven control dials as they were mostly faded. Maybe it's time for a replacement or at least please provide the appliance manual so guests would see which is which.”

“Could not book through the website as it set up a firewall but once I got through to your staff on the telephone the service was friendly, helpful and efficient.”

“Would have been great to secure the booking on line there and then, had to wait to speak to Waterside in the morning. However, 5* response when I spoke to the office, suggestions and confirmation of extra parking etc and an October discount!!!!!! Other observation seemed difficult to forward actual accomodation to others in party without going in and trying to book another date. Just wanted to send them details of the house but didn't seem to be possible?”

Both valid points, we take bookings on behalf of owners directly at the best prices so with a number of cottages we have to confirm those dates are free which is why we are unable to take instant booking on some properties. We also like to speak with everyone to ensure their bookings are all correct and all questions are answered.
