“A last minute booking never stayed before. Excellent accommodation with great facilities inside throughout and also lovely furnishings/bedding. We loved all the little touches made it homely. We had a full time wheelchair user so all the large rooms open plan and wide doors worked brilliantly plus lots of plug sockets for his equipment I loved that.. Couple of points that could help to improve it for us a fan it was boiling even with no heating on and windows doors open. A mop and bucket essential especially with the amount of the local 🪿 around to keep it clean and hygienic. This is personal preference but our lodge was dog friendly maybe a gate on the veranda with so many geese and ducks absolute carnage trying to keep dog contained lodge cool and everything in between. The fishing part of the stay was abit confusing online tells you to contact you before hand which we did then got told on email first come first serve so maybe abit of clarity between staff and website. We will be returning very soon Can’t wait to do a Christmas here 2026 Thanks”

“We stayed at Erequary Boathouse in Wroxham and it was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was very clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. A great location with plenty of amenities within walking distance and close to the train station. Lovely sitting area right next to the water so great for fishing or sitting in the sun. We will definitely be returning.”

“had a lovely stay at Hippersons Boat Yard on the 'Coot Club' floating house boat, lovely sunrises through the patio doors in the morning and Steve was extremely helpful and always seemed to be around when you needed to ask something. local food was excellent and affordable and the rowing boat was great fun and fairly easy to manouvre, even for beginners ! many thanks”

I recently booked a holiday with waterways Holidays after searching the Internet doing my head in not being able to speak to anyone on the phone i made one call extremely helpful pleasant staff they got the property i wanted at a very competitive price bring back the old days its not worth spoiling a family holiday especially what we have just been through last two years.”
