Happy with the product etc, but living local to the shop I was disappointed that I can no longer come into the shop and browse. Times change I suppose.

Unfortunately times do change Scott, we have been open as a shop since 1990, unfortunately staffing and maintaining the shop is no longer viable. We still do offer local pick up as you have experienced. Mike George, Managing Director.

Good availability of products. Was ready for collection quickly and staff helpful. Only issue was opening time for collection - couldn’t get in before or after work

Hi Angela Thanks for taking the time to review our service. Essentially we are an online business but offer a pick up service for locals. We try to be flexible when we can if somebody contacts us about picking up later, however we are a small business with limits on staff availability. Mike George, Managing Director.

As Covid now much less of an issue, I would much prefer to go into the store and select things.. I think I would purchase more from you then. Super efficient collection of purchase though, but definitely had to bang hard as instructed ! 😂

Received goods in a timely manner. Ordered wet shoes size 41 my normal shoe size, unfortunately I found them to be a little large and lose. Now in the process of returning and exchanging for size 40.

Tried to buy a mask and snorkel online, but after choosing items couldn't complete order. So I called and was told several pages/items were historic and should have been deleted from site. So why hadn't this been done instead of wasting customers time. Even the sales dept had major issues ordering them for me and i ended up paying more than stated online and it ended up taking nearly 30 mins on the phone. Sales person was helpful and order arrived on time, so I'm happy with my Mares mask and snorkel but not with the site !

Thank you Les for your feedback which is always appreciated. The issue referred to was a mistake on our part, unfortunately we do make them occasionally. This was a combined product, a particular mask and snorkel which over the past 12 months had proved difficult to keep both parts in stock at the same time. Whist we do remove old products from our site, Google sometimes presents old cached pages which whilst visible, don't work. The really good thing is that you were able to phone us, speak to a real and knowledgeable person, who was able to help you obtain an alternative version of the package which you are now happy with, one way we do stand out from a lot of our online competitors. I used to love the gear from the Watersports Warehouse, but miss not being able to go in to browse. I sill bought items online as well but some items you want to look at choice.

Would have been a better review if you hadn't asked me to write one. I'm not here to promote you unless you're going to pay me to do it. You sell a product, I buy it, you get paid. That's it. I'm not on earth to promote you. Thanks for charging me exactly the same price that absolutely everyone else charges. What makes you special? Were you 1p cheaper? No. Well stop asking me to sing your praises, then. What do you do that I can't get anywhere else? Why would I vote Labour, Conservative or Lib Dem when all three offer me EXACTLY the same [allegedly] 200 paedophiles in Parliament? I paid you, the gloves turned up. Good. And? That's what I expected. Have you done something special? When I put petrol in my car, pay at the kiosk and then turn my ignition key to switch the engine on, does someone want tipping for services rendered? No. It's a transaction. I mean really. Does any man on earth chuck diamonds at a woman and then expect to have to say "Right, get 'em off"? No. It's a transaction. I paid you for my neoprene gloves, you sent me my neoprene gloves, my neoprene gloves arrived, the end, thanks, marvellous, gee, am I meant to be shocked? You did your job. Congratulations. D'you want a medal? Autograph? Unbelievable. Tell you what, right, you go and provide fresh water for every thirsty African & I PROMISE I'll say yippee galore.

Paid extra for speedy delivery, unfortunately item was not quite what i expected and returned it. (At my expense). Now awaiting refund, but nothing as yet- Something to do with "Quarantining"?? . Still NOT aware of anyone in the World dying from the plague after handling packages?!? Another delaying tactic of retailers when it comes to refunding customers.

Product was slow to arrive. Very little tape for £8. Tape seemed to do the job. Would have expected more for the money

Hi Jane, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Your order was shipped on the 15th by standard second class post and according to the Royal Mail delivered on the 19th. We say allow 2 to 5 days, many orders arrive in 2 but a few do take a little longer. Regarding the tape, I'm glad it worked well though we have no control over the content, we simply retail the Gear Aid product. Mike George, Managing Director

Hi I recently bought 2 pairs of C skin swimming socks ( sales receipt 1137359) . I am very happy with the socks - tried them today and they are just fabulous ! I have been telling my friends about them and have sent them the link of where they were purchased so I hope you get some orders. My complaint is despite the fact that my address and postal code ( aircode in Ireland) was marked on the order and also on the box that was delivered, the delivery company delivered it to the wrong address. The address was also a 6 Eglinton Park but in Donnybrook Dublin and not Dun Laoghaire which was not my aircode and at a different part of the city. Thankfully the person who received it rang me to tell me they had my parcel. I had to drive there and back which was very inconvenient with these Covid travel restrictions. I LOVE the booties and would like to ask your advice on the best kind of gloves to buy which are snug, warm but give dexterity and movement in the water. I look forward to hearing from you On my complaint

As you say in your review, the address you provided was complete and the address we passed to the carrier and put on the label of the parcel was correct so it'e annoying that the delivery failed. Unfortunately once the parcel leaves us we have no further control and depend on the carrier to do their job. My colleague will be in touch by email regarding your question about gloves. Telephoned before I placed my order asking for information about a bathing cap and it wasn't expensive but I needed to know if it would let water in. Was told my hair would probably get damp/wet just around the edges but no guarantee which I accepted. At this stage the service was friendly and delivery was quick. On the 2 occasions that I swam my hair was drenched so not at all suitable so I 'phoned for further advice and any advice about what other caps on their site may be suitable. The lady I spoke with was also the person I first spoke to and she wasn't quite so pleasant as the first time. I was just stating a fact I wasn't criticising Watersports because it let too much water in. Certainly not impressed with the backend Customer Service.

The wet suit I ordered arrived quickly. A good fit except for the ridiculously tiny children sized footholes. A nightmare to put on and take off.
