I was staggered to turn up at Watersports Warehouse, having driven for over 40 mins to discover they are ONLINE or CLICK and COLLECT ONLY. The website is very unclear on this matter and indeed whilst we were in the cold and wet car park trying on the items we had to purchase online 45 mins earlier and go back to collect, two other potential customers turned up expecting to be able to browse and purchase like a shop as we had. When we told them it was online only they drove off. Relaying the fact that these potential customers had just driven off was met with a shrug of the shoulders. It is of course WW's perogative to conduct their business as they wish...I just think they should display 'clearly' on their website that it is NOT a showroom or shop. The staff I encountered, although not horrible in any way, were pretty cold and completely ambivalent to the experience we had. I wish them all well - I hope they make the very straightforward updates to the clarity of their website, but I won't be using them again - I genuinely don't think they care that much about their customer's experience.

Product looks OK but untested because £7.50 was wasted on express postage that took 6 days to arrive!! We were on holiday by then...

Hi Patsey, we are disappointed to hear that you have not yet received your delivery, and hope that it is not delayed much longer. We received your order on the evening of 11th December and we despatched it on the 12th., in normal times you would have received it by now, 20th.. Unfortunately the current troubles with industrial action by Royal Mail staff, inclement weather in parts of the country and Christmas shopping have all caused disruption and delay, all of which is outside of our control. my product was dispatched about 5 days after I ordered it and then hit the mail strike so I have not received them yet

Thank you for your review Anne Marie. Your order was placed on the evening of Weds 23rd. It would normally have been despatched the next day, unfortunately the Royal Mail were on strike on Thurs & Friday 24/25th. The next opportunity for despatch was Mon 28th which was when it was collected by the Royal Mail, unfortunately, while we do everything we can, like thousands of small businesses, the industrial action is not in our control. We are always looking for ways to improve our service, however only the Royal Mail currently offer a cost-effective service for low cost items, and nornally offer a very good service. Ordered several items online, asked to wait outside whilst sorted. Collected items, one not contained & had to go stand back outside again whilst item located ! Just felt unfriendly & not customer focussed, is it not possible to have a waiting area or seating? Female assistant not that welcoming either!

Thanks for the review however we are not sure what you are referring to as you placed 2 separate orders, each for one item. You placed an order for 1 item at 13:57, at 14:03 (6 minutes later) we sent you an email confirming that your order was ready for pick up. You picked up your order but informed us that you had just placed another order, unfortunately the second order had not yet been processed, it was placed at 14:05. Our staff member, on being informed of this immediately processed your order, at 14:08 We do not have a waiting area as orders are usually placed in advance and therefore 'picking up' usually takes seconds. I used your online sizing guide which persuaded me, against my better judgement when purchasing a buoyancy aid. I have now had to pay an extra £5 in postage returning it. Currently waiting for you to despatch the next size up

Hi Martin Just today received the Buoyancy Aid you returned, your exchange is ready to be despatched today, some 50 minutes after receipt by us. I have just opened the BA you returned and tried it on to check the size, having fully loosened the webbing belt, as my colleague discussed with you yesterday, it was a snug but comfortable fit for me, my chest size is 45 inches which is 1.5 inches more than the size guide (From the manufacture, Yak) suggests as a maximum. I am therefore confident that the size guide is accurate. Mike George, Managing Director.

Really sorry because I usually don't post negative feedback and the initial service from WW was actually very good. The things I ordered arrived the next day, which I hadn't expected. Unfortunately, the dive boots were not the correct size because the size guidance on the website is a tad misleading. For this Mares product, the US and EU sizes are on the factory label and the UK sizes are on a sticky label that is added at some later stage. The UK sizes, however, are wrong and so I ended up with boots a size too small (US 5 instead of UK 5). I did point this out by email with a photo, so that WW could amend their website to avoid another customer having the same problem. I received no acknowledgement at all to this message, which was disappointing as I was only trying to be helpful. I had also hoped that since it was WW's mistake that they might consider refunding me the postage to send the boots back (not their usual practice, I accept). They'd been by far the most expensive of the 3 items I bought, so having to pay an extra £3.20 made the two items I kept significantly more expensive than they should have been. Sadly, WW did not agree :-(.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear you were not happy. Mares are an international company using the same packaging in different countries. As you can see on your image on the left hand side it clearly states UK5 which is the correct sizing for the product inside the bag. The product label provides SKU information/bar code etc and indicates that they are UK size 5. Having sold Mares products for over 25 years we can confirm the sizing has always been the same. We have minimal returns on the boots due to sizing but the fit can vary within different manufacturers, I have varying sized shoes at home between sizes 8 and 9 depending on the brand. It is also important to note that wetsuit boots should be a much tighter fit than a normal shoe so that the amount of water entering the shoe is restricted.

Items ordered and paid for. They have not yet turned up. Not likely to be your fault, more likely Royal Mail. But the response so far has been pretty weak. Advised to search the neighbourhood for the package. 1 week after delivery didn't arrive, an email to say Royal mail are investigating. No eta, on when I'll receive what I've paid for. In my case the items weren't urgently needed, I would have been quite angry with this response if they had been.

Hi Gavin, you placed your order on Sunday 12th, we despatched it the next day, Monday 13th, according to Royal Mail tracking your parcel was delivered on Thursday the 16th. If this is not the case, please let us know, to avoid any confusion with any other order you may have placed, this was for Swim-Eze. Mike George, Managing Director

Hi Paul, Your order was placed on the evening of the 2nd., we despatched your order on the 3rd. According to Royal Mail tracking it left the UK on the 4th. The tracking in Denmark, currently just says that it arrived in the country on the 6th, given the current Covid situation everything is slower than normal, but I would hope you would receive your delivery in the next few days. Happy with my swim gloves, LESS happy to find that I paid £35 (on Amazon?) and Watersports Warehouse were offering them for £25. Why didn't I get the sale price?

Don't really understand this review which suggests the purchase was made on Amazon. We do sell two different versions of Zone 3 gloves, the Heat Tech Swim Gloves at £35 and the standard Swim Gloves at £25 We have not had any special offers on either gloves as they are in short supply, in fact new stock of the the Heat Tech gloves arrived on the 28th of October and were sold out in 5 days. When I first visited I was not aware that the shop was only open for collection of orders. I also needed advice about the wetsuit. It was raining heavily on the day. I was not allowed in the shop for the duration of the 5 minute conversation with the employee, despite the fact that I had my face mask with me. The employee was wearing a visor. By the end I was drenched, I felt that this was very rude. I visited the website looking for snorkelling gear. Most of the combinations that were on offer were not available for my size. I could not find the combo items to order individually and this limited the available choice. The process is quick when you know find the items that you want, and the prices are good

Thank you for taking the time to review our service, when the order was placed the product was showing “! Despatch 6-10 Days” which means it is not currently in stock but expected within that period. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the manufacturers were also out of stock of the product, as soon as we were aware of this we made contact to advise of a delay and give the option to cancel if the delay was too long. We were asked to cancel and did so immediately. We try very hard to keep our stock up to date, occasionally we make a mistake, must try harder! Mike George, Managing Director
