“I thought I would give them a go and my goodness me they excelled beyond my expectations. My parcel was collected and within 4 days I was given an offer which shocked me. Far more than I was expecting and once I accepted the money was in my account within a couple of hours. You must use them because you may be pleasantly surprised. I was over the moon and will certainly recommend them and use them again.”

“Cash Cow was easy to to make use of and the administrative side of things was excellent. However amongst a number of items that had certainly seen better days I put in a couple of items which were quite valuable. I wanted to see how fair Cash Cow’s offer would be. It was extremely disappointing to receive an offer which was decidedly below what I would have expected to have received and I will not be using the service again. Disappointed.”

I'm glad that you found the service easy to use, as we aim to take the hassle out of selling a large amount of items, and we're delighted to hear that you would describe the administrative side of the service as 'excellent'. I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the offer. We did receive some lovely items from you on this occasion, but most of them did hold a relatively low collector value, as base metals, costume jewellery, and sunglasses are saturated areas of the market, where this is more supply than there is demand. These of course would be bought by local production companies to be used as props, so they would still get a new lease on life and reused! The majority of your offer came from the silver content of some of the items, however, a large portion of this was .800 silver, which generates a smaller amount than the usual .925 silver, which may be why your offer was lower than expected. That being said, our offers come with no obligations or pressure to accept, so we would have been happy to send your box back free of charge.
