“I actually saw this design on another house and thought how lovely it looked. I’m very pleased with my purchase which is just perfect on my late 1990s home. I had a telephone conversation prior to completing order on website. Service and product excellent value for money. Arrived intact and well wrapped with easy fittings supplied,”

“Having paid £80 and waited 2 months for this wall plaque I had high expectations that were not met. In my opinion the most important thing about a house number plaque is that the number is clearly visible to visitors and tradesmen. The dimensions of the plaque are 250 mm by 180 mm yet the house number is only 23 mm by 18 mm, which is far too small. Fortunately the wall of my house is only 1.5 metres from the pavement and 3 metres from the road so the number is visible, albeit not obvious. If my house was set further back it would serve no useful purpose. Although very pretty, a further criticism is that whilst the plaque is mounted level on the wall, the number itself is slightly leaning. For £80.00 I expect better than that. I am going to upload 2 photo's, one a close up and the other from the road, so that others can judge the credibility of my review for themselves.”

“Very good. Came in no time whatsoever. The writing is on top of the slate so not sure how long it will last. I had hoped it would be written into the slate that way you could always repaint. Still, for the price it is rather nice. Smaller writing that you'd imagine even on the largest settings. You might need an additional sign with larger writing. As it is the writing is hard to read from the kerbside. This is my balanced review.”

“I ordered what a Cast Iron Oval house sign, when it arrived it is made of Resin! I have left a message to Village Green to return it. Although the package was marked as Fragile the delivery driver dropped it over my 7 foot side gate as I wasn't in. Not impressed”

“Very pleased, wrote a poor two star review earlier as the plaque hadn't arrived...two months it's taken but actually well worth the wait. They've done a lovely job and I take it all back. It is for some Hungarian friends and was in Hungarian text as requested. They've done a superb job. 5 stars!”

“I ordered two signs and after a few weeks received jut one. I have tried calling 4 times but got no answer and in fact the phone was put down on two of these occasions and I have also e-mailed but now after 5 days have still not had a reply. Very unhappy. Although I am writing this review for the benefit of others I suspect I will still not hear from Village signs as they probably don't read the reviews!”
