I ordered a 12”x8”resin crocus & snowdrop house sign at a cost of £101.00 which the website said was in stock on 18/6/2020. I expected to receive a confirmation of my order with an order number by return which is usual when ordering online. I received no confirmation or order number, I checked my bank account and the money had been taken out. I tried calling the number on village green website only to have a answer phone message say that due to Covid staff are working remotely and will answer emails as quickly as possible. I sent an email asking for confirmation of my order and reassurance that the order will be honoured. I received a customer survey back on how I rated the support I received. I had received no customer support so sent back that I was unsatisfied and followed this with a further 2 emails asking for confirmation of my order. As yet I’ve received no communication from village green as to what’s happening with my order and cannot track without an order number. Whilst I appreciate the pandemic delaying service, it is not an excuse for a total disregard of any form of communication and suggest an unprofessional organisation. In the current difficult trading environment you would expect organisation to go the extra mile to respond to customer enquires. In the absence of any meaningful communication since the 18the June 2020, I am left no choice but to commence action to recover my money if no communication is received today.

Hi Michael. We have already responded to your emails to explain everything for you, however, I can see that your order was dispatched within our delivery times stated and you should already have it with you by now! :)

I ordered a sign on the 04/06/2020, order number: 000006829. The order had not progessed. I have since tried to contact them by phone and through their support email. I have yet to have any replies. I have now had to contact my bank to investigate the matter. Not impressed with the lack of costumer support. I have read other similar comments other the last two weeks. If you are unable to fulfill orders you should not be taking them.

Don't waste your money. I ordered a rectangle slate house number and it came after around 1 month of waiting. Sadly, the text is completely wonky and makes the sign look terrible and it's definitely not rectangle. I've contacted customer services via the website twice and still no response after a week of waiting. Won't recommend or order here again.

I have an issue with the product I received, after more than one week Order 000006604. Why is nobody bothered about contacting me when you have sent me two emails asking me about your service it doesn’t make sense. Please contact me on the email attached to my order.

The website leads you to believe you are getting a hand painted house sign. They are merely stuck on. If the flowers are supposedly hand painted by their talented artists why would you go to all that trouble to then stick a sticker over the top for the number - really cheapens it. The only indication that is has a sticker is right at the bottom of the page in tiny writing that there is a vinyl over lay - again it's just a sticker! Guess you get what you pay for! Real shame. Guess I can just peel the sticker off and paint my own number..........

Thank you for your review. I can see that your product purchased was from the printed ceramic range, I can only apologise if you felt misled. To clarify, only the hand-painted resin style house signs on our website are painted by our artists by hand. I hope this helps.

Order on thee 10th of April , shipped on the 24th of April after 3weeks 18th of May contacted again , that said they would send a replacement but may take another 3 to 4 weeks so I was offered a refund which I accepted now the 8th of June still no refund !!!

About 5 weeks after ordering and paying I received a phone call to tell me that my house sign had been delivered to the wrong address over 200 miles away. Sure enough the next day I received the wrong sign from the other address. I was asked to post back the incorrect sign and was told would be reimbursed £5. I posted it back 2 days ago and sent a text message saying I had done so. I have yet to hear when and indeed if I am going to receive my house sign.

Very poorly made, painting looked terrible and areas where mistakes had happened were covered up with black marker pen all around the letters and gold paint missing of the letters too. Sent sign back as really not happy at all with it, not worth the money at all. I Paid £100 for it which isn’t cheap. I have now found the exact same sign for £20 from a different company and it is much better quality.

Just received my sign and it looks very amateur. not the quality I was expecting at all considering the price I paid. There are areas where it looks like they have patched it up and disguised it with black marker pen to hide the mistakes. Very disappointed indeed. ☹️

We have been waiting 6weeks for the wall sign we ordered, having phoned to find out why we had not received it 3 days after we were told it had been dispatched we were told it has been lost somewhere unknown,we are really disappointed.we were above to place an order for our daughter but not now. malcolm jamieson

Hi Malcolm, It's such a shame to see that a negative review has been left for our company based on the actions of a courier. Your sign was handmade and hand painted by us, so we can assure you that we are just as disappointed that the courier had, unfortunately, mislocated the parcel. Especially when our studio & artists put so much work into these house signs. We are fully replacing the sign from scratch, of course at full cost to ourself and are turning it around as soon as we possibly can for you. We hope that you can understand that companies and couriers are totally separate and again it is very disappointing to us that we have been reflected in a negative way when we have provided the service that we advertise and have also resolved your query the best that we can in our customer service aftercare as well.

Whilst the cast sign & gold lettering were perfect, the painting of the rowan leaves berries & flowers was a complete joke. My 10 year old niece could've done better. Has the artist actually looked at pictures of what a rowan looks like? I doubt it. Don't waste your money! What a let down. Expected far better for the £110 I paid! Ended up painting over it myself - a better job by far

VEry disappointed with the sign- the font size was wrong and the lettering was painted when it was supposed to be engraved. The email that we sent asking to contact us about our dissatisfaction was not responded to. I hope I get a response to this

Order my sign back at the beginning of May, 21 days later my sign has arrived, and its missing one crucial element the house number which is clearer requested on the order form. Disappointed as I had read such good reviews. We will see how well they resolve this matter.
