“I bought an "Apple and Blossom" sign as a house warming gift for a friend. He is absolutely delighted with it. So far I've only seen photographs, but I am very impressed. The design is lovely, and the artist has produced an apple that looks good enough to pick and eat. The quality of work is excellent. I am looking forward to seeing it, but he wants to repaint the front of his house before he fixes it to the wall. Customer Service is excellent. I made an error with the address (it not being my own), and I cannot fault the help that I received. I was kept well informed throughout the process of producing the sign, which was much quicker than I had expected. Delivery was prompt, and the delivery company provided an hour slot, and kept to that. I highly recommend Village Green Signs for the quality of the product, value for money, and level of service. I would most definitely consider making another purchase from this company. Philip L. Meers”

“The sign is great and does the job perfectly BUT the service is very slow and when you receive the product it is astonishing to find that it has taken so long to make. So, I would recommend but only if you don’t need the sign promptly.”

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for leaving a review, we appreciate the feedback. In regards to our delivery times, these signs are all hand-made and hand-painted and we are only a small family-run business. Therefore our turnaround time is up to 11 weeks as stated on our website. However, I can see that we were slightly delayed dispatching your order and I do apologise for this! “Quick tunaround and good quality. However I would have liked more flexibility in the design process. It was one of the better create your own design sites but I really wanted the ability to adjust the line spacing and to have control over the positioning of the text relative to the fixing holes. With my signs the screw covers impinge slightly on the lettering - completely avoidable if the customer had the ability to fine tune the design. Otherwise pretty good.”

We are only able to have a certain amount of standard templates for the layouts for our signs as the templates are pre-made by our design team. We do however offer a bespoke service where our designers can create your own layout and specifications :) If the screw covers do impede on the sign details, please email a full front-facing photo to support@villagegreensigns.co.uk so that we can look into this for you as this should not be the case. “The sign was EXCELLENT! They are really nice, however, the wait??? Well that was a different thing, ordered November 6th arrived 14 February nearly four months, so, so slow a few emails were sent and the only responce was when I asked for the money back...... Great sign, poor service.”

We are glad that you are happy with your sign and that you think it is excellent! :) I am sorry that you feel that the delivery time was too long, we are a small family run company and we do advise on our website banners and at checkout of our production time which is approximately 11 weeks. I can see that w delivered your sign a week late so I do apolgoise for the small delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. In regards to the customer service experience, I have looked into this and can see that one email was sent from you on the 29th of December, where a response was made on the 30th of December. Hi I have looked into this and can see that your purchase was for an acrylic house sign which has the size detailed on the product page of 14x14cm so it would therefore arrive this size. We do have larger signs available on our website that may have been more suitable. However, I am glad that this can be seen from down your drive :) Many thanks, Village Green Signs
