Worst company ever. I have multiple commercial property accounts in Leeds with Verisure. I had travellers break into my industrial unit in January 2023. We are now in May 2023 and they have made 9 appointments to get their engineer to install some hardware. Every single appointment gets cancelled on the morning of the appointment. They do not call to let you know, I have to call myself. The latest appointment was today 06/05/2023 having booked it way in advance a month ago. If phoned 3 times this week to ensure someone is turning up and they reassured me, just to find they won't be turning up this morning. I raised a complaint several times and the area managers don't like it and take it personally to cause you issues. The fact is Verisure do not care about your security. All they want is your money. The company was great some time ago, now they have dropped. If you want to take a risk with your security, then you can be their guest and try it out. Be prepared to experience that 1 security breach, probably the only 1 you will ever have, just to find you've been let down. Or once your contracted, be prepared to make countless appointments after cancelling your schedules just to find no ones turning up and your system is still not operating. MY ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY. Alarm was randomly triggering and the live camera stopped working. this was compounded by a rude engineer ( has visited previously) who just wanted to refute everything I was saying because it appeared he simply did not want to be here. Reason for the alarm trigger was originally given as moving branches. We moved the plant pots and cut back the bush. Then the trigger was bright light. Thus alarm has been in situ for many years ... but bright light is suddenly an issue? The sensorr has moisture inside but the engineer did not want to even take a look - just blamed i on the branches. then said it shouldn't have been mounted there - so i questioned why the engineer had installed it there. He argued that the bush couldn't have been there and when I said it had always been there he said that I knew better than him. Well in fact I do as I own the property and can confirm the bush would have been there when the Verisure engineer fitted the sensor. The reason for the live camera not working was that I had changed my broad band and had a new wifi. I could not connect the camera to the new wifi and apparently it is not something I can do but has to be done by Verisure. First I have heard about not being able to switch wifi for a device and needing to call out an engineer but so be it. I did try and explain that when it was working the image was black and all I could hear was sound. Did he bother to discuss with me - no. So none of the issues fixed and I had to ask him to leave as he was being pretty rude and his demeanour was completely negative. I have also asked for some devices to be removed as I don't see their value. I am out of contract, but supposedly as the device was part of a package I have to pay £80 to remove it. Its basically unscrewing it from the wall and removing it from my plan. In reality, they offer the discount and then try and tie you in by making it too costly to remove so you end up having to pay for it beyond the contractual agreement. Be very wary if you sign up to a package offer - it is nothing of the sort and I am sure this needs investigation under consumer rights law (which I will be following up on). Needless to say I will be cancelling and finding a different provider - although this also means providing 2 months notice - so they squeeze a little bit more from you. If you are reading this, great. You are doing your research and can make an informed decision. Personally I would not recommend that you run for the hills - or at least look at an alternative supplier or maybe not your own system

was a good company but when alarm batteries stopped work impossible to get new ones never answer phones and then when tehy call you its just to lock you into a new contract AVOID

Avoid them at all cos. This is a big scheme to sell you things at the start that they will no adhere to. Cancellation is an issue where they will require 3 months notice. They will not turn up to call outs and simple mark things as done. Terrible company

Awful company with disgusting tactics won’t cancel your contract without them calling you but the problem is they never actually call you despite numerous requests, they then demand money PLEASE PLEASE STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS FRUAD COMPANY

Cancelled in November 2022 I was told 3 months notice, but yet they are still trying to take money 5 months later( they have taken 1 more payment than they should have done) and now they are sending messages telling me my accounts is in arrears and I need to make a payment. Don’t think you will receive anything more from me, you owe me.

I was burgled while having Verisure alarm. The alarm triggered from the back entrance and a person walked in. The monitoring centre staff took the pictures and didn't even notice the open door and marked it as safe. They didn't send any security as they advertised. I have been with them for over 3 year with business and home. Now when I needed them they were useless and ignored the alarm. I've asked for the image taken on the night but I'm given the excuse that due to GDPR they can't share images of my own property. They won't answer my question of why no one noticed the door left open while the alarm was left active (complete silence) They want to resolve the issue by advising me to buy more security from them by adding live cameras. Shameless people keep going on upselling. Great reviews if nothing happens to you but reality kicks in when an incident occurs. They won't even cover the damages. Avoid and use a professional company.

Absolute scam of a company in Newcastle on Tyne. Told all lies and mislead. Once installed camera wouldn’t work. Couldn’t get a technician for days on end. The camera subscription is owned by Verisure. Drop in wifi and your locked out of your subscribers And no recordings. Customer service after care non existent all don’t know what they are talking about. Don’t get a camera. If it breaks all you’ll get is ‘ but you have an alarm and panic button ‘ buy Arlo on Amazon it’s £3.49 a month subscription!! 6 hours on the phone demanding a repair. Had to order a camera on Amazon next day delivery. To subscribe to Arlo just to feel safe. Absolute disgrace!!! They Totally couldn’t be less interested. Do not let this happen to you. Stay well clear. Salesman all liars. Technicians can’t handle the back log of repairs !!!! Hang your head in shame. Security !!! Felt more safer if I had no doors and windows !!!!

We have been scammed on £700. The system was installed and never worked, it took us 3 engineers and 3 calls out for them to admit it was never going to work due to signal. They’ve decommissioned the system, left holes in our walls and have refused to refund any of the money. It has never worked from day one we will be taking legal advice

Do not use this company. They promise all kinds of help but not delivered. Been having problems with the alarm for months, but no kind of help. Non existant customer service. Keep away.

Really bad customer service. I booked an engineer visit and on the day he called and gave me a completely different location. Company never done the follow-up to issue. 1 I have to call three times to get a customer service person on the phone. 2 Never said when they increase the direct debit. 3 When canceled the service asking for downgrade fees, when its been sold saying when I cancel the contract I owe the equipment except for the zerovision equipment. Customer service people claim they can not do anything in any department.

If I could give them no stars i 100% would. This company is a huge con. They have pushy sales people who lie and trick you to sell and once you buy they send you bigger bills and change what they have said. Do not get alarms from these people. Get your own and pay once. This is a huge scam. Please avoid!

Frauder !!! Frauder !!!! Be carefull to sign the contract as you not let you go out without the court !!!never call back ,MY BIH M8STAKE !!! PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THEM !!! Simply before sign the contract ask for the contact number to cancelletion team which you never get it!!! Dispite the formal cancellation notice send by register post 6 mont ahead to keep minimum term still send the invoice !!! Unbelivable , unrealistic company !!! Looks on the google review !!! Not even 1 human respond for negative feedback , just ble ble ble . Im ready to claim against in small court and reported about the unfair compsny to right obdusman !!!

Everything,…I was lied to right from the start …apparently I don’t own my alarm even though I paid them almost £500.. and I’m being forced to continue my monthly contract or they will charge me almost £300 to leave and also by doing that I actually don’t have an alarm… I’m disgusted just feel like ripping the whole thing out myself , plus my front door is ruined because the arlo door bell is stuck right in the middle ….. disgusted

Appalling ‘customer support’. After 2 months my issue with the Arlo security front doorbell has not been resolved in spite of emails to the company and demands for monthly ‘support’ service.

I was told I was buying the equipment when signing up and paying an initial payment. The monthly contract direct debits kept increasing without prior notice which goes against the direct debit guarantee. When cancelling my contact due to selling my house, I gave the required 3 months notice. I was then told I didn't own the equipment and they offered to sell it to me as a stand alonecalarm or my buter could take over my contract (£10 less per month than I'm paying!). Neither offer is accepted as my buyer doesn't want this alarm. I've repeated emailed asking them to arrange a date to remove their equipment and each time they say an engineer will contact me, but they never do! They've acknowledged overcharging by taking another month's payment but no refund given! Ph, and they still xharged ne in full the first 5 weeks despite the system not working properly!! Oh, and the annual service included in your £36 per month contract consists of them posting you a packet of batteries so you can do it yourself! So, if they won't collect their equipment my buyer can do with it as he pleases!! Awful company.....AVOID AVOID AVOID. I'll be reporting to trading standards because they just rip people off and the sysrem doesn't even work properly!

Absolutely disgusting service with mickey mouse people from finance dept, and over talking me so I couldn't explain, obviously very brave over a telephone line, asked them to remove the system, but just easier to remove yourself and put it in a box for the day of collection, simply buy your own cameras and safe yourself money with no contract and no rude mouse trying to be a lion over a telephone

Absolutely disgusting customer service! I tried to cancel my account with this company for over 3 months with no support or help from their team. The team were completely unequipped to deal with my problem, constantly contacted numbers which they had been told were not available. I was passed back and forth between agents and managers constantly over the 3 months with only one person (Lorraine) providing any ounce of kindness for my circumstances. In my last phone call I was patronised, laughed at and taunted by a customer service member who refused to offer me his name or put me through to his manager and then subsequently hung up on me. Verisure should be ashamed of themselves for the way they have treated myself and members of my family in our current circumstances. What was already an incredibly stressful period in our lives was made worse by their lack of support and complete lack of respect. They have consistently refused to cancel the contract despite me waiting their 3 month cancellation period. I will now be cancelling the direct debit. I have made countless phone calls in what has been the most difficult period of my life to try and do the right thing and cancel within the terms of the contract. I would never recommend this company to anyone and will warn people in the future to stay away from them.

Verisure has now had 3 consecutive engineer no shows to fix my alarm. It hasn't worked since January. A 4th visit was scheduled for today, but despite me telling them thay no-one is here after 1400 and them confirming this was recorded in the call notes, they sent a 1630-1830 appointment. The call centre agents do not seem to give a monkey's.
