I was told I was buying the equipment when signing up and paying an initial payment. The monthly contract direct debits kept increasing without prior notice which goes against the direct debit guarantee.
When cancelling my contact due to selling my house, I gave the required 3 months notice. I was then told I didn't own the equipment and they offered to sell it to me as a stand alonecalarm or my buter could take over my contract (£10 less per month than I'm paying!). Neither offer is accepted as my buyer doesn't want this alarm. I've repeated emailed asking them to arrange a date to remove their equipment and each time they say an engineer will contact me, but they never do! They've acknowledged overcharging by taking another month's payment but no refund given! Ph, and they still xharged ne in full the first 5 weeks despite the system not working properly!!
Oh, and the annual service included in your £36 per month contract consists of them posting you a packet of batteries so you can do it yourself!
So, if they won't collect their equipment my buyer can do with it as he pleases!! Awful company.....AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I'll be reporting to trading standards because they just rip people off and the sysrem doesn't even work properly!
