“Probably unfair to u. But I have had to contact Scottish Power on oct 7th for a final bill. They took another dd on Oct 1st. Then have said the dd has been closed I didn't cancel the dd as I was told thats how a refund would be made so now a refund has to be a cheque meaning I'll have to go into a bank. Not convenient. So switching is not as straightforward as you advertise”
“In order take accurate measurements you need to take the usage of the gas/electric as well.
British Gas recalculated the figures of savings £122 per annum. The actual usage came to £62 per annum.
As a retainer they offered £75 to stay.
Needless to say I stayed”
“Uswitch presented me with a quote for a dual-fuel tariff to beat the 1 October price hike. I accepted the offer (with Fuse energy) only to find out, after my switch was complete, that I'm only eligible for the offer on gas and that Fuse will not be able to provide me with electricity! This has to do with my electricity meter type, which is information that Uswitch has access to and still decided to present me with a misleading offer. Because the timing is sensitive I am now unlikely to resolve this issue before 1 October and will be out of pocket. I DO NOT recommend Uswitch, the experience has been far from seamless thus far - I actually wish I had stayed with my previous provider and not bothered with this awful data mining company.”

Took photocopy of what they sent for Gas & Electric….to be informed two days later that Gas had been transferred but they could not supply electricity to us”
