“Probably unfair to u. But I have had to contact Scottish Power on oct 7th for a final bill. They took another dd on Oct 1st. Then have said the dd has been closed I didn't cancel the dd as I was told thats how a refund would be made so now a refund has to be a cheque meaning I'll have to go into a bank. Not convenient. So switching is not as straightforward as you advertise”
“In order take accurate measurements you need to take the usage of the gas/electric as well.
British Gas recalculated the figures of savings £122 per annum. The actual usage came to £62 per annum.
As a retainer they offered £75 to stay.
Needless to say I stayed”
“Uswitch presented me with a quote for a dual-fuel tariff to beat the 1 October price hike. I accepted the offer (with Fuse energy) only to find out, after my switch was complete, that I'm only eligible for the offer on gas and that Fuse will not be able to provide me with electricity! This has to do with my electricity meter type, which is information that Uswitch has access to and still decided to present me with a misleading offer. Because the timing is sensitive I am now unlikely to resolve this issue before 1 October and will be out of pocket. I DO NOT recommend Uswitch, the experience has been far from seamless thus far - I actually wish I had stayed with my previous provider and not bothered with this awful data mining company.”
“Switched to Fuse for Gas & Electric.
Took photocopy of what they sent for Gas & Electric….to be informed two days later that Gas had been transferred but they could not supply electricity to us”
“I’m fed up with this surveys where you just wanna write through the rating isn’t zero because you didn’t do a very good job. You also didn’t advisor a deposit that would be needed before I could get the product which wasted my time and had a knock on effect we still not being able to get them off my back and they’re still messaging me.”
“Attempted to switch to Fuse for gas/electricity to be told the switch had happened but when I queried what was happening with the gas supply was told by Fuse that they had no “access” to it and could not do the switch.
I would have thought that Uswitch when offering the product and checking postcode would have been aware of this

“Pathetic, thought I had signed up with a provider, u switch sent me details and gave me a link to follow "to complete" registration but it was like Starting again. I queried this by email to uswitch and they said they would get back to me in one to four days which I found appalling when dealing with your gas and electric still waiting for them to get back to me. Surprisingly enough I didn't go ahead with the swap.”
