I bought two maps (1:500 & 1:1250) & submitted them to my council's planning department, which told me that they were unacceptable because the street names didn't appear on maps themselves, only as a header; and my adding them by hand wasn't good enough. Eventually, the official relented, but not before causing me an avoidable measure of anger/-uish.

This is all very well, but how is it that my 35 quid buys me a couple of 'maps' which are actually quite inaccurate? Dimensions wrong and an extension(?) to my house which doesn't exist, and has never existed. Is this classified as faulty goods within the meaning of the Act?

The map arrived but I had a problem with it . I emailed you 10 days ago - no reply . I have phoned you three times this week , I have not received the promised return call . I think your after sales service is rubbish and I request my money back

Sorry to say a very poor experience which mean't I wasted the cost of my first map and had to purchase a second; not intuitive, inability to move map area around, inability to preview before purchase. Did it a few years ago and it was easy - now it is extremely difficult.

Just another scam site really: poor quality maps ludicrously overpriced. It would be interesting to know what commission they recover from local authorities for providing fairly useless documents to support planning applications.

This service is terrible and less than poor don't take part be aware. Avoid at all costs. the responses are very arrogant and disrespectful. they really don't give a scooby doo to put a finer point on the actual responses

The map window was far too small to show any street names and this was not obvious when I placed the order. Not fit for purpose.

It looked like I would be able to draw on it electronically but I couldn't. Disappointed.

The website claimed to sell site plans, but they are not Cad compatible. When asked why they didn't make it clear that their pdf's can't be imported into Cad, I had a very sarcastic message from 'Steve', which means I will never use the service again and will advise my fellow workers not to use them. They then quoted £60 for a Cad compatible file, jokes, bet that wouldn't work either, so won't waste my clients money on one

Very reliable site. Quick map download. The samday submitted to planning permission and they approved instantly.

Ordered five days ago the maps sent by email are no good as I asked when I telephoned for the boundary of my property to be outlined in blue which they have done but they have included the pavement as part of the boundary, I paid for the paper maps and requested them to be sent by post plus the originals, five days later I am still waiting as I can adjust your error on these, I am on a time limit, and uk maps had no problem taking my money, and sending me another e mail asking if I'm happy with my maps four days later well I'm still waiting for the maps in the post as I requested this when I rang up to see were the maps are a very off hand woman on the phone told me I have to wait five days well I'm still waiting if I don't recieve them soon I will be asking for refund soon

provided a plan format that was instantly rejected by East Dumbartonshire Council as not being in the required format. Not property was not marked with red lines as required by planning and street names not referenced. I feel mislead frankly. Waste of money.

The map didn't show the whole site - just two thirds of it.

The council claim that the block plan that cost me £15.60 is not detailed enough!

Its a rip off. I paid £18 for a minute map that the planning department already has. The data for OS was collected at public expense for the army (hence the name). Its then used by a public agency for their records. And I am expected to pay a bot to do 2 seconds to reproduce a tiny bit of it - price £18! I can buy two whole paper maps for that.

The map cost more than the price advertised on the google search result. The map was inaccurate, failing to recognise that our garden had been sold off and another house build on the site at decades ago. So in short, expensive and inaccurate.
