“Delivery guy presses ring door bell, my phone was off and I didn’t hear the ring, my partner, who wasn’t at home but has access to the ring camera, starts to tell the delivery guy I’m in the house waiting for him and to loudly knock on the door instead. The delivery guy, in his infinite wisdom, instead of knocking on the front door, begins knocking loudly on the door he’s attempting to deliver .. My bewildered partner watching this starts asking why the hell he’s knocking on a door in a cardboard box instead of the actual front door, which must of got lost in translation as he proceeds to knock even louder on the door he’s attempting to deliver..hahahahaha
It was like some classic comedy gold sketch.. It took several minutes to explain she wanted him to knock on the front door instead hahaha

“Hi I have used uk oak doors a few years ago with over £5000 orders and I have used them again and have to say quality has gone done and skirting boards etc are different we have a new delivery few months ago and the door trims and linings are terrible quality and obviously new supplier the moulding on the skirting are different so I would say we have old stock with new stock so make sure it’s all ok before cutting.
Very slow in delivering so give yourself at least 10days before it’s delivered”

“When I ordered a door for my bathroom from UK Oak Doors I’d read the reviews done my research and was happy to place an order.initially everything was going well the door was being prepped and oiled we were told and was given a lead time.Things started to rapidly fall apart from this point on though as it now we had the delivery date it wasn’t met, as apparently the door didn’t meet their high standards.This we thought was great that they would rather delay than give us an inferior product.I started to wonder if that was true however when the new delivery date was only 2 days after the original as the oiling process needs 10 days we were told.No need to panic though as they didn’t meet this delivery date either,or the following one they rearranged to which they said was due to the driver discovering our door was not on their van prior to setting off to our address.An hour after that communication they informed me it had been delivered after all. It hadn’t i was home all day having taken a second wasted day off from work to await the delivery. To add insult to injury when the door was finally ordered it wasn’t oiled at all and the delivery driver was questioning whether we had already had the door. I later contacted UK Oak Doors for refund of the money paid for the door to be oiled I never had any response and have not received any refund either. The quality of the door we received is great but pretty much everything else about the experience is awful and will never use them again would certainly not recommend them to anybody either. It’s disappointing as we ordered the door as the first of eight doors we want to change and this was to see if they were any good. Needless to say we’re going elsewhere for the other 7 doors”
“The door I brought was very good, delivery not so good took nearly 2 months for delivery with no updates on what was going on, I had to telephone twice to find out what was happening, a previous door I brought had a panel split and I was told it was because I used a Dulux varnish not Osmo oil, which is not true, so watch there guarente.”
“Whole house has internal UK Oak Doors fitted for approximately ten years now. They have a solid and quality feel to them which is immediately apparent when you open and close them. They still look as good as the day they were fitted following the initial recommended Treatex hard wax. My recent purchse was an additional matching door for my new hallway - again, delighted with it. Thank you!”
“Absolutely shocking delivery service tool 3 weeks for all of the order to arrive the hardware turned up in separate deliveries on different days with no notification the door came on one day the frame 2 weeks later I was expecting everything to arrive together
