“Great first tutoring session!”

“I first met Ms Drogaris during my IB Business Management HL Y1 class. I was a student who didn’t really care about school and had constant Ds and Cs throughout high school. Ms Drogaris almost single-handedly helped me see that I was wasting my potential, showed me my love for business and prepared me more than any teacher I have had up until now. I scored a 7 on my mock exam. Currently, she is my tutor for AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, and although she has been a mainly IB teacher her whole career, she has had no problems with the changes in the syllabus, preparing me, or finding study materials. I would recommend and have recommended Ms Drogaris to anyone who has a passion for Business Management or Economics.”

“I have been a loyal student to Ms Drogaris for 2 years now. I'm currently a senior in high school. Ms Drogaris has been my educator for IB Business Management HL. Her professional and open approach to education has turned me from a straight C student to achieving IB scores of 6 and 7. This year, she is my tutor for IB Business Management HL. She has played a profound role in my understanding of the class and achieving a predicted score of 6. She is the type of teacher who understands students and takes the time to know them on a professional and personal level, and then she configurates her teaching approaches to accommodate the student's needs. My reading dyslexia poses a big obstacle for me in understanding illustrated writing. Despite my difficulties, Ms Drogaris takes the time to help me understand; she repeats and simplifies concepts for me so I understand. She has made me a much stronger student. Her role in my academic and personal life can not be better suited for some other individual. I am eternally grateful for her presence in my life and hope you will have many opportunities to benefit from her expertise and insights.”

“Helena is extremely pleased with her sessions. She has already gained a solid understanding of the topic and feels very confident for her upcoming test. The structure of the lessons works well for her. Most important point for me is that Helena takes notes on paper during the session as I am critical with the overuse of devices. “Working with Mrs Anastasiya has been such a important process in refining my IB English skills and has allowed me to improve significantly, transitioning from Y1 to Y2. She as a tutor has an abundance of useful resources for every thing IB students require, and given her experience as an examiner, she provides key insights that help maximise performance. Asides this, what makes her stand out to me is her compassion and kindness. She has always been very encouraging and makes the class environment friendly. Not only this, she genuinely works hard and has an effective teaching approach. During her leave, I had some lessons with alternate tutors but none match her expertise and energy which has truly been amazing. Even during her leave she was able to provide feedback on my HL essay. “The mocks provided were really helpful for me in getting familiar with the interview process. In the mocks, I was guided to present a clear logic in my discussions about economic problems. Arpad has given me many valuable advises, and explained economic concepts clearly and patiently. I’ve also showed him the 90-page-pre-reading text which I was quite worried about, and fortunately the confusions were eliminated after discussions with him. Arpad is very good at encouraging students, and thanks to him I kept myself calm and confident throughout the whole interview.”

“Mr Sundstrom helped me a lot with my coarse works to start with. His approach is very responsible, thorough and professional, that means he knows what he is doing. Mr Sundstrom was nice since the beginning and I really appreciate his quick response to help. He replies almost 24/7 that creates the impression of a him being extremely engaged in the subject. I really like him as a tutor and I am sure he will make everyone feel better about their work. I would recommend everyone to get lessons with him if you do Geography IB!”
