“I've had the wonderful experience of working with Jessica Dieguez. Taking higher-level math in the IB made me realize I needed some extra support, especially during the final year. Jessica broke down complex topics, such as complex numbers and integration, into much simpler concepts and always checked that her explanations made sense. This made the lessons feel comfortable and encouraging, allowing me to ask questions and clear up any confusion I had. What I appreciated most about Jessica's teaching was that I left each lesson feeling like I truly understood the topic, rather than just knowing how to solve a single question. That made it much easier to tackle unfamiliar problems on my own and gave me much more confidence in my abilities. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience because Jessica created the perfect balance between learning effectively and feeling comfortable enough to ask questions without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Jessica to anyone who struggles with maths like i did.”

“Silvia Codita was an excellent tutor for English Language and Literature HL. She helped me improve my essay writing skills and develop my critical thinking through her well-organised lessons. She always paid close attention to the areas where I needed improvement and gave me constant feedback that helped me achieve great results. “I’ve been using TutorChase for over two years and have had an overall great experience. My top tutors were Lana for History and English, Jeremy for Physics, and Ghada for Chemistry. Lana completely helped me gain confidence in essay-based subjects, raising my IB History predicted grade to a 6 while also providing amazing support with my coursework. Jeremy and Ghada both gave excellent feedback on my coursework, which helped me improve it significantly and achieve high marks. Ghada’s teaching style was really effective. “We are very grateful to Fiona Kamal (English IB tutor) for the excellent support she has given our daughter during the past 12 months in the IB program. Fiona is very knowledgeable, patient, and very supportive. When my daughter started working with Fiona, she lacked confidence in herself and felt completely blocked with writing because of a very negative experience with a teacher at her school. Fiona helped her rebuild her confidence, improve her writing skills, and makes my daughter believe in her own abilities again. As my daughter was completing both the IB Diploma Programme and the Alberta Canadian curriculum at the same time, we sometimes asked Fiona to help her with Alberta English assignments as well, including PRTs and CARTs, and she was always willing to do so. Without Fiona’s support, flexibility, and dedication, my daughter would never have been able to succeed in IB English the way she did. “I had a mixed experience with tutor chase. The tutors themselves are certainly competent and helpful, and they helped me gain confidence in my weaker subjects. You do have to be aware and ready to interrupt them when they get into lecture mode sometimes to make sure you're properly following, but the work between sessions is also useful for that. However, I cannot be as positive about the customer service. My "dedicated client manager" was a pushy car salesman type who was not incredibly helpful or dedicated. He was not very responsive, went on holiday without informing my tutor that I had been assigned to her or passing me on to anyone else, mis-charged us (and did not contribute to reversing the error), and kept trying to sell me large hour packages - including in the week before my final exams, when he sent me a message every day for 4 days reminding me to buy. It was a frustrating experience which I would not want to repeat. I hope other service staff are more pleasant to deal with, because the tutors themselves are, and it would be a shame for everyone looking for help to have to go through similar ordeals.”
