He had tailored very well the tutoring technique to my daughter’s needs, always being available for any additional questions. “Sofi is an amazing tutor. She is patient, and explains things in a simple way that make sense to you. She puts in a lot of work to make personal notes about the topic you have requested, and provides practice questions which she will then go through with you. Sofi is very flexible with scheduling lessons, and she’s always open to answering questions outside of lessons.”

“Although I only had two sessions, Eirini was a very good tutor. She gave me plenty of paper 1 and 2 examples for me to practice before the exam. She walked through the analysis process with me, and made sure I took part in it, so it wasn't just a monologue of me listening to her. I also liked how the length of our sessions could be varied to suit my needs. Finally, she provided a nice message to encourage me just before the exam.”

She is able to simplify complex ideas to make them easily understandable and provides lots of practice materials to test my knowledge. She's very kind and patient, and is always happy to explain something as many times as needed. I also appreciate how she always makes sure that she's not covering the material too quickly and that I have time to write down and properly process all the new information. Her classes are structured and not a minute is ever wasted, which I appreciate, and the atmosphere is very pleastant.”

“Mike has been teaching my daughter Maths standard level (MYP5) for the last couple of months. The best things about what my daughter appreciates about Mike's teaching is he explains complex concepts easily and gives challenging problems at home so that my daughter feels more comfortable in school with the extremely challenging papers. Mike is very sincere and for each test at school he ensures my daughter has gone through a test with him.He is also always sharing insights about my daughter whenever I seek advice. I needed a tutor that can really give test support ( without any guidance from the school) to my daughter and I believe I have found the right one.”

“I think the structure and delivery of the session was done extremely well. It follows a clear explanation followed by some questions to test if you’ve actually understood and can apply the knowledge learnt. The addition of homework further aids this process as it allows the skills to be fully developed and remembered just outside the hour. This works because the explanation is so detailed and in depth which allows a deep understanding to be developed on each and every part of the topics.”
