“As an existing tutor my students do not to have to pay the 25% extra. I think a lot of the recent reviews are so poor because new tutors are not signing up the to the 25% extra charged by tutor hunt. I think that parents want a particular service but tutors don't necessarily want to provide that. For example some parents want the tutor to travel quite a distance to their house or they only want fortnightly lessons but this isn't financially viable for the tutor. This isn't a reflection on the site but on parents unrealistic expectations.”
