“The company appears to not have much care or diligence to it's service. We ordered some limestone tiles, a number were damaged when we inspected them. We immediately let the company know, they then tried to make out there was nothing that could be done as it wasn't returned as damaged to the delivery company...I am not sure how we were supposed to unpack and inspect every tile on receipt of delivery... especially considering each tile has significant weight...but that is what they insisted upon. So next thing, we informed them of their obligations selling to distance buyers and they changed their minds...only to give us the single option of travelling for 45 minutes, take 2 hours off work to go and pick up replacement tiles from a supplier. Never before have a delt with a company that expects customers to drive to suppliers to deliver their own defective goods... Avoid at all cost, better companies out there.”

Dear Customer, You ordered 17 pieces of limestone tiles, which they were delivered by us, with our company Van. They were offloaded at your site, hand balled one by one, by one of our own drivers, while you were at present and could have checked easily of these 17 tiles. A couple of days later, you requested 3 tiles replacement, claiming that they were chipped. We advised that the quickest way was to visit our warehouse, which was 15 min away and replace straight away. However you refused this and asked us to bring the tiles asap, we advised that even though this is not our fault, we will do this however you may have to wait for a week or so, as our drivers and Vans are not available at present. You were not happy with this either and decided to come to the warehouse for replacement. We gave 4 tiles extra free of cost and you were supposed to bring those 3 tiles with you so that we could exchange. However this also was not done and you advised that you'd bring the 3 tiles back the following day which has not happened and quiet likely won't be happening. We are a customer oriented company, our prices are very reasonable, we do everything we can to accommodate our customers and in this case, we believe we did everything correctly. Sometimes we may not keep everyone happy, but we learn from our mistakes and try harder to provide the best possible service in this difficult business environment.

“Initially had trouble ordering over the Internet, but requested a call back. This happened within 30 minutes or so and the representative sorted everything out over the telephone, pain free!”

“Very helpful, 1st class service, from ordering some tile samples which arrived very quickly. Very pleased with samples received. Order placed by telephone very good service received by Monika. She answered all my queries, placed my order. Delivery company contacted me with delivery date. Very good service from delivery people. Although we have not fitted the tiles yet am very pleased with them. Look forward to seeing my project completed. Many thanks Travertine, would recommend”

“We used Premium Ivory Travertine - Brushed & Unfilled Chipped Edge in an Imperial Pattern for our new open plan kitchen / diner and they have finished the space excellently. We had an issue with some of the tiles arriving stained, due to the packaging used. But this was resolved following continued discussion with the customer service team. I would recommend TS for great value for money.”

“I only needed a small number of marble tiles so I phoned for help. The lady could not have been more helpful allowing me to buy 16 tiles and advising me on quantities of glue and grout. The tiles arrived quickly despite it being close to Christmas and were well packed and in perfect condition; the driver put the pallet just were I wanted. I have now laid the tiles and they look very good. I phoned for further advice about sealing and grouting and again the lady told me how to do this. The tiles are of very good quality stone, cut very precisely so they were easy to lay with even grout lines. So I was delighted with the service and quality.”

“Ordering the product was very easy and hassle free, after placing the order the product was shipped swiftly within 3 days and the items were delivered professionally with no problems and all in good order Also it is important to add that the actual marble tiles were of excellent quality and good value. We will be using the the travertine store again.”

“I had ordered the star galaxy granite tiles. The tiler opened the boxes to find they don't all have the same finish. Some are black. Other slightly lighter and some very sparkling compared to some dull. Even though the company has said come get a refund or exchange..I'm. 50 miles away. Who will pay for that and wasted day. The tiles are definitely from a different batch and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from here. Thats 4 days wasted on a building project. And still not sorted.”

Many thanks for your review. We have checked this order and advised that the goods are from the same pallet, it is very unusual for us to have different batches from the same pallets. We have asked the customer to bring the goods back to us and if different batches are found within the order, we will credit the customer accordingly.

“This is the fourth time we have purchased floor tiles from Travertine . Firstly for our new conservatory we chose the 305 X 305mm black granite quartz again the same for the bathroom , these have a bronze sparkle to them .Then the Star Galaxy for the hallway and porch now the same for the kitchen .The star galaxy are similar to the tiles as you go into duty free air side at Birmingham airport to get some idea but of the 305 mm sq size . When you request a sample ,it arrives in a couple of days . The tiles are excellent quality and are very good value . Similar tiles are available from B&Q and Tops , but you compare the difference in price ! a very substantional saving . Delivery is very reasonable , for a delivery of 155 tiles weighing near 500kg , cost £34 to B post code arriving in 3 working days or express delivery at a higher rate . Very happy with the service and product ,I had a 5% discount on the last order saving another £22 . I highly recommend them ,maybe it would be an idea for them to supply some more variants of coloured quartz which I have seen in Tops ,reds ,blues I hope this review helps you, I don't usually leave reviews , but in this case !
