“Don't bother requesting samples, they are so small you can't do anything with them to get an idea of what they may look like on the floor or on the wall, a sample of a 305mm stone daso rail was just 100mm in length. held up to the wall with tiles it's not enough to get a feeling of what a full bathroom would look like A sample tile recieved wasn't anything like expected. I do apreciate that natural tiles do vary, but the sample was a long way out, a very different colour entirely. Otherwise order was very well packaged up and recieved quickly, can't fault the order / delivery process at all.”

Hello Mr Feather, Thank you for your sample order with us and your feedback. We use Royal Mail to dispatch all our sample orders, unfortunately, Royal Mail has strict restrictions in terms of size and weight of sample shipments. As you have mentioned in your review, natural stones can vary even across individual tiles, this is the reason why we state on our sample prints "Please note: This material is natural so please expect variations in colour tones, markings and texture. Small samples are intended as a guide and will not show all variations in any particular stone." Some stone ranges vary more than others Mr Feather and the Classic Travertine stone range that you requested the samples for are some of these stone ranges that do vary more than others. Upon our customer's requests, we do take current stock photos of full-size tiles and forward them on for our customers' viewing if this is something you would wish for us to do, please kindly confirm and we can forward these photos to you. “Web site worked well , communcation worked but I oprdered a sample and it never turned up and therfore the poor score I did get asked to leave a review , however , whcih suggets they are open to reciving constructive feedback”

Hello Mr Fraser, thank you for your feedback We use Royal Mail for all our sample request and, unfortunately a sample shipment on very rare occasions does get lost, fails to get delivered or arrives damaged regardless of how well we package them. Unfortunately , because we do not receive delivery confirmation from Royal Mail, we inevitably depend on our customers to kindly inform us if their samples are not received, when informed we dispatch a new set of samples with the quickest Royal Mail delivery service. “Good customer service - prompt to respond. Great to be able to order a free sample first - which also arrived very promptly. The 7 boxes of travertine 10x10 tiles arrived with a friendly, helpful delivery man. They were well packaged without any damages and there was a well-randomised mix in each box. These were easy to cut and look good. I'd recommend Travertine Store and would buy from them again. Thanks”

“Beautiful products but limited on size and usage. The natural products would be fantastic on the floor but too deep and heavy for plasterboard walls, would have loved a wall only version. Very prompt with samples, quick to answer the telephone and most helpful. Top end delivery fee and will charge one tile the same as a pallet. Read the terms and conditions on damages, returns and replacements, not the best in this area.”

Dear Customer Thank you for your kind words regarding our products, sample service and telephone service. In regards to the delivery charges, as it was kindly explained to you during our telephone conversation, we use a third-party haulage company that charges per pallet. The pallet charges are calculated according to the delivery postcodes and not what is on an actual pallet, our pallets can hold up to 50 m2 on some of our range of items. In regards to our returns and replacements or damage reporting, as with all trading companies within our sector, we also have certain processes in place for damage reporting, due to the high fragility of the items we supply, damage reporting on orders is a little time-sensitive. To help with quick on-site inspection of orders, we only shrink wrap our pallets in clear shrink wrapping, this allows visual order inspections even without the need to tear into the pallet packaging, but we also arrange items within the pallets in such a manner that items can be inspected very easily when being delivered. Furthermore, we encourage our customers to fully inspect their items at the earliest opportunity and report any damages to us as soon as possible as any delay in reporting damages makes it extremely hard to determine when damages occurred as items are also open to being damaged on delivery sites.
