“Make your decision based on need/time…… Ultion locks can be bought here, but do not bank on the company processing your order and instructing the courier correctly (expedited/guaranteed shipping). Having paid for a guaranteed service, the locks were sent to the job site by this company under the normal shipping timescale. I paid the higher rate, Toolfix ignored this instruction to the courier, and they used a slower service (but pocketed the money). Courier confirmed that they had been instructed to use normal delivery timescales, not a guaranteed delivery time service. No reply to my complaint, or request for shipping costs to be refunded. Won’t use again, no customer service focus at all. (Simon Jones, Yorkshire)”

Hi Simon, We're sorry that you didn't get the items on the correct delivery service that was requested. We have looked into your order and can confirm that a mistake was made at the point of raising the courier ticket and it was incorrectly put on a next-day delivery. Please be assured that this was a genuine mistake (which unfortunately happens from time to time) and we would never knowingly downgrade a delivery option. We've discussed it internally and none of the customer service team can recall speaking with you, nor can we find any email / contact us form communication other than this review (we also sent an email directly however, have not received a reply). We have refunded the difference in the carriage charge. Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. Toolfix

“0800 / 1800 delivery slot is too big and no option for leave in shed or neighbour. I am sole trader and can't sit In all day. DPD give a time slot. Might be more expensive but worth it.”

Thank you for your order and feedback, We use a selection of national couriers to ensure our customers receive their deliveries as soon as possible. We offer a range of service options as well as standard, next-day delivery that are available to choose at the checkout stage including delivery before noon and delivery before 10:30am. There is also a field to add any delivery instructions so if you do order again, please add any information such as leave with a neighbour etc and we will pass that information on in our instructions to the courier.
