“Condition of hair was good but sadly I picked ash colours and have been left with a hint of red/orange which should not happen with ash!!”

“This was my first time dying my hair. I have very long, thick, curly hair. I bought shade 2N to cover my greys. The shade seems to match my hair perfectly, which is great. However, it only covered maybe 20% of the greys. Curly hair can dry out really badly when coloured, so I was really counting on this doing a better job of colouring the greys to make the job worth the ensuing dryness. I doubt I'll bother with dying it again.”

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Grey hairs can be especially hard to colour which is why we have some hints and tips. Our Hydrate Treatment is the perfect pre-colour treatment as it helps to soften the grey hairs allowing them to soak up more colour. We also suggest adding a little heat for the first 10 minutes you leave the colour on. Use a hairdryer on a low-medium heat setting making sure you apply the heat evenly across your hair. “Haven't tried the products yet But very annoyed with the postage,I paid nearly £7 for next day delivery i had missed the deadline so assumed it would be the following day. However next day delivery was actually took 4 day's to arrive”

“It's a great product in that it doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp that can't cope with the usual hair tints. BUT it just fades very very fast, particularly from the roots.”

Hi Susan, thank you for reviewing our colours, it is great to hear that you can use them without causing irritation to your sensitive scalp. We are sorry that your colour fades fast, many shampoos and conditioners contain harsh chemicals that actually strip hair of colour. Our shampoos and conditioners are specially formulated to nourish and condition your hair without the harsh chemicals to ensure that your colour lasts for longer. We always advise using our care range in conjunction with our colours for optimum results. We also have a variety of treatments that ensure that your hair is in optimum condition prior to colouring as healthy hair responds better to colour.
