“None of my sample tiles ever arrived to me - not a great service! I tried to call and no one picks up the phone 🤷‍♀️”

Hello Rasha, We only send out 3 free samples but you placed 6 individual orders which means you never paid the postage for the extra sample requests. If you require all 6 samples please place a new order including all samples and pay the delivery charge based on the total number of samples requested.

“Poor quality and customer service. Cream tiles ordered and depicted on website, grey tiles delivered. They refused to reimburse me for my £50 postage despite this. See pic of delivered grey tile versus my existing cream ones.”

Hello James, thank you for the review. Your photo shows the cream tile ordered against a different tile we do not sell so they will be a different colour and shade. After inspecting the tiles, we can confirm you were sent the correct tiles ordered. As you did not like the tiles and sent them back we refunded your tiles as it was within 28 days but as we state in our terms and conditions we do not refund delivery charges as we use third party delivery services. We would in future recommend requesting a free sample first before placing an order as the images on the web site are for illustrated purposes only and different devices will display different shading based on its settings.

“Order three free samples, never arrived. Emailed them, and they said they would resend. Again never arrived. Complete waste of time. Wouldn't trust them with a proper order, if they are incapable of sending some small samples.”

“Extremely disappointed with my experience…when my tiles came one of the boxes was taped up with fragile written on, when opened the box was short 5 tiles…we were 3 tiles short to complete the job and when I got in touch them they said I had ordered by the tiles and not by the box but I HAD ordered 5 BOXES (I didn’t even know you could order individually…I have had to order from the manufacturer at a cost to me (WHOLE BOX) for £47 with no compensation…would not buy from this company again!”

Hello Sarah, we can confirm we do indeed sell by the tile for this particular tile. You ordered 5m2 which equals 165 tiles. This equates to 4.8 boxes as there are 33 tiles to a square metre and 34 tiles in each box meaning you received 4 full boxes and 29 tiles (5 tiles short of a full box). To receive 5 full boxes you would of had to have ordered 34x5=170 tiles which would cover 5.15m2. We hope this clears up that you did receive what was ordered and that, if still in stock, you can place follow up orders for any amount of tiles and not full square metres or boxes.

“1. Ordered sample before purchase just to make sure we liked it - non-arrival. 2. Requested suitability of a product for a specific job, got a few don't know type of replies, the final one said requested information from their supplier, this was the last correspondence. 3. So if this is the type of service before purchase - be aware and make your own decision from my above very recent dealings with them. Obviously, this is not a company I will be using, because so far it has done nothing apart from disappoint and deliver nothing physical or answers to a straightforward query.”

“We couldn't see what the tiles looked like ,they were cut in the middle of the print .very poor ,in complete tile not much point sending the sample in that condition .”

Hi Karen, Thank you for your review. Yes we send out cut tiles as free samples and with the 20x20 mix prints we usually send 2 half tiles so it is possible to send out With the Royal Mail. The idea with receiving the sample is to view the finish, colour and quality of the tile before placing an order and we hope 2 half's of different prints of tile will help make.

“I ordered 4 tiles. Two of the tiles were broken into 3 to 4 pieces and the patterned tile sample only included a tiny bit of the pattern (village blue decor), the rest was white. Since this was one of the broken tiles it was difficult to get an idea of the pattern so I had to superglue the pieces together. The tiles look nice with some imagination.”

“I haven't been able to contact Tile.co.uk about my order once since placing it 6 weeks ago. I've tried calling, emailing and commenting on social media however I'm yet to receive a response 4 weeks on. My order has not been delivered and I seem unable to get a refund.”

Hello Ahmad, we can confirm your order was delivered to your property on the 5th January so you maybe reviewing the wrong company if you have placed an second order for different set of tiles. Checking our records we have not received any emails from yourself concerning your order. Please check which order you have not received and who the company is who should be supplying them.

Apologies Jack, office opening times are normally 9.30am till 4.30pm Monday- Friday but we have limited staff for answering phone calls so you may have been unlucky with staff dealing with other customers. We also have a onsite chat box which we can answer as an email reply if outside office opening times. We also reply to customer emails asap at hello@tile.co.uk

“Advertised as having abundant stock of tiles only to find out once I chased for a delivery date the tiles were not in stock. No customer service, no apologies for no stock or no contact. They were prompt at refunding my money once I asked”
