“I would not buy any other product now, tried Seep scourers after searching for something environmentally friendly as I wash up by hand and hated how bad normal supermarket scourers are for the environment. Seeps are amazing, they last for ages and can be composted. I would not hesitate to recommend them”

“I love that the sponge is biodegradeable. But the sponge falls to pieces within 30 days. When I bouhg my first batch of four they were being promoted as lasting three months - now I see that they ads say two months - but by day 32 my spnge is a collection of pieces. I cannot justify the cost of these. I am attempting to be as Green as you can get - Green party Member - Campaigns Director for our district - running a website on Skool all about the Climate Crisis. I want this to work. PLease please please - either reduce the cost or lengthen the life span.”

Hello, thank you for using our sponge scourers. They last between 4-8 weeks. We have pretty good quality control for all of our products and check each batch that goes out of our factories, but unfortunately, some not-quite-right products do occasionally slip through. We track these product issues and work with our factories to improve them the next time. Often they arise because we're using natural materials, which are more difficult to work with. “Hi, I bought your products through the easy fundraising link as you said you’d make a percentage donation to my son’s charity (dig deep). The donation was only £1.45 but I’ve just found out that you’ve defined it as according to you, I purchased with a voucher or through a third party which I did not…very disappointing and I won’t be buying from you again!”

Thank you for choosing Seep! The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. Rinse under water and give them a little massage before use to soften up. The sponges will become softer upon continued use with washing-up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times.

As they are a natural material, they can feel very different from the plastic sponges that we have been used to for so long.

“Ordered on line & they arrived very quickly. Now into the 3rd week of use & so far very impressed. They feel much more natural when held compared to the plastic alternative. Each time the dishwasher is run it goes in for a freshen up & to date there is no sign of wear.”

“Absolutely love the eco sponge scourers. Had the first one in use since mid January and still in good condition, gets popped in the dishwasher. When it needs replacing, it will be used for my dog's bowl until it's time to compost so it's win-win all round. Guilt free kitchen 😁”
