With an estate agent your property can be marketed for long period of time before it’s sold. This is can be a much faster process.”

“Honestly, I was really dubious about this company to begin with. But I was really, really surprised and very pleased with how they worked.
I'd split with my husband and needed to sell. He was very uncooperative and decided to go with The Property Buying Company, wouldn't waver, so I felt I had no choice. However, they were incredibly tenacious, managed to get a sale that covered the mortgage, which given the state of the property was fantastic. My ex was still being awkward regarding price, but they pointed out how unreasonable he was being and wouldn't let him drag things out, despite his best efforts. They ferried him about to get his ID sorted (he didn't seem to be able to do that himself) and when he'd filled things in incorrectly and failed money laundering checks as he can't reproduce a clear signature more than once, organised for verification to be done in front of a solicitor. They wouldn't let him fudge the sale, which seemed to be what he tried to do.
