About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“The package arrived very quickly. Excellent service. Lovely, warm, lofty blanket in orange for my daughter. Wool is really so much warmer than any man-made fluffy fibre. My mother always said this but I didn’t believe her.”

“I really love these blankets, they have such a nice feeling on the skin that when you have a bad day or feel a little down they comfort you like a warm hug. The only down will be that the offer in XL patterns and colors in wool blankets is very limited :(”

“Ordered two small blankets to use in my conservatory. They arrived beautifully packed, within the time specified. I am delighted with them , they are soft and warm and the colours are beautiful. I have had these blankets before and will order again when I can afford more. They enable me to use my conservatory through the colder months.”

“Was unsure initially about my colour choice but when it arrived it was perfect. A really attractive colour which tones beautifully with the floral cushions on my outdoor sofa. Also much softer than the 100% blankets that I have purchased in the past from other suppliers.”

“Company is good, sadly the chair throw was small and more a large scarf size. It's Marino wool but not as soft as I'd hoped, the reason I don't like wool is the itchiness and this is supposed to be soft but it's still a bit itchy. Very expensive too . Sad I've been searching for natural wool for years and love supporting small businesses.”
