About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Really great quality cosy blanket from this company. Pure wool and made in UK made it a sure sale from me. Highly recommend if you're on the fence - great price for the quality you get as well. I also have a scarf from them which I love.”

“The XL blanket is a fair price considering the quality of the blanket (thickness, colour & warmth) whilst also making use of resources here in UK. It’s a bit prickly but then it is pure new wool!”

“This is the third blanket/throw that I have bought from The British Blanket Company and I have not been disappointed. The quality is very good and if I should need another, then I will be back on the website. I chose the large size as it looks great on the king-sized bed. With white bed linen and colour co-ordinated cushions it really, jazz's things up. Very pleased.”
