About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I bought an armchair blanket as a present for one of my grandparents. She loves it and says it’s very soft and keeps her warm in the colder months! She uses it both as a blanket (which covers her feet) and also as a shawl. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a useful, well-crafted gift.”

“I bought a rainbow stripe large throw before the very cold weather we recently have experienced. It was intended for the bed but I have found it a wonderful way of keeping warm and cosy in the evening. I am very glad I bought it and there is nothing to beat the warmth of wool. I will be back for more in the future. Your designs and colours are delightful.”
