About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

“I bought a pale blue supersoft merino blanket/throw for my daughter, with which she is delighted. It is beautifully soft, the quality is excellent and delivery was prompt. I would purchase again without hesitation from this company.”

“This beautiful blanket was bought as a gift for a friend for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. I had the blanket delivered directly to my friend and it arrived in good time as promised. The only suggestion is that, when it is a gift, it would be nice if the packaging could hide what the gift is so it can be a surprise. The wording on the packaging meant that my friend knew what it was before she opened it which was a pity.”

“More expensive than I really wanted to spend but Very pleased with the quality and colour of product. Notice you often have offers on regular size blankets but not on extra large size. bought as present and specifically needed to fit super king bed.”

“Delivery was quick and throw was in environmentally sensitive packaging. I felt the price was competitive and appropriate for the high quality of the product. I enjoyed reading about wool on their site and I'm eager to buy more non synthetic products. Nice to discover a British company selling quality products. Thank you.”
