About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I bought the herringbone dusty pink blanket in XL. When it arrived it was lovely, just as expected perhaps a little darker in colours than the photos… and I realised the lighter waffle throw in beige would go better in my room so I have decided to exchange. Hopefully the first blanket will be back with you in the post soon as it’s on its way for exchange.”

“Easy to use website, everything was very efficient which was great. I replied to the initial order confirmation email to change design, having checked it wasn't a no-reply one, but no one responded. I received my ordered item then had to return it for an exchange which was swiftly dealt with. And I love the blanket, its amazing!!”

“I bought some throws online previously and when I received them they weren't exactly what we bought in feel and texture, but I searched the internet and came across The British Blacket Co., and bought two throws their description was exactly what I was hoping to get and when I received them they were exactly what we asked for....to say we are very satisfied, we will definitely be back!! “The blanket - tis a thing of beauty. Absolutely love it. It arrived on time, in lovely sturdy packaging. The blanket itself looks even nicer than on the website, and so cosy as a lap blanket on the sofa. All round excellence 👍😊❤️”

“Received my blanket promptly and opened the package to the most beautiful blanket. Made to the highest of standards of wool and wish I would of knew of the company before. So very warm, feels soft and comfortable. Excellent value for money. I purchased an XL and I am very happy with it.”

“I have purchased 2 large and three armchair blankets over the past 2 years. They are beautifully made, soft but substantual, good quality, I have washed them on wool wash with no problems they come out just as soft. I am fussy about home interiors and like quality products so very pleased with these blankets.”

“Bought this for my mum as a birthday present and she's absolutely delighted. It is beautiful, soft and the perfect size for her 2 seater sofa. We will be buying the smaller size for an armchair. Highly recommended!”
