About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Excellent choice in size and colours. I went for XL and it fits beautifully on the couch. Colour is true to the pictures and the quality is amazing. Also loved to see my blanket arrive in eco friendly packaging. Love my blanket, thank you!”

“I recently brought two very lovely throws from The British Blanket Company. There was a minute mismatch in the tone of the throws. Bethan, one of the owners of the company, really could not have been more helpful in paying the postage of both throws to be returned, finding two exactly matching throws and sending them swiftly back to me. Very impressive customer service and a gorgeous product.”

“I ordered these 2 blankets for my twin-bedded guest room. They are exactly as portrayed. A quality blanket with a beautiful herringbone design. The service was impeccable from ordering to delivery which was free of charge and very quick. Can't recommend them enough.”

“Your business was recommended to me by my son, who is in Scotland. Both he and his wife had bought a large throw on my behalf last Christmas. I will be visiting and staying with family and friends and having seen your products on line thought that they would make ideal gifts for my family. Your products are well presented on your web site and we’re delivered promptly.”

“Wanted a throw to put over my tired sofa and spotted the XL buttercup herringbone throw at the British Blanket Company. It arrived quickly and looks beautiful and really brightens the living room. Also impressed it arrived in paper packaging, which my cats now like to sit in!”

“I like my blanket although I hadn’t appreciated how thick it would be. I’m sure this will be a plus when it’s cold. The colour is really nice. It’s a shame you don’t do more in the smaller size.”
