About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I'm so happy with the blankets I purchased. I've swapped my duvet for the blankets as the blankets natural wool allows me to keep toasty warm without the overheat and static problems experienced with the duvet. Definitely recommended.”

“I'm in Canada and I wanted to buy a throw as a gift for someone in England. The throws looked really good on their Web site (and they are), so I decided to buy one. The only question I had was on how the throw was packaged, as this was a gift. I couldn't find this information on the Web site. Also I couldn't find a way to ask this question, so I phoned the BrBlCo and, although I reached voice mail, I was given the information in their message about who to write an email to. I think that the email address should be on their Web page, as well as information about packaging. If this information is there then I apologise for missing it. I did write and got a quick reply from Bethan, who gave me the information I wanted with photos. The purchase was easy, the status of the order and delivery was sent to me, and the recipient (delivery status only), as it changed, and the throw was delivered as scheduled and in good order. I would definitely buy from The British Blanket Company again.”

“This is the second extra-large blanket I have bought. I have 2 dogs and have found them both decorative and useful in keeping our settee clean. The size perfectly fits the seat and they wash well, although a little less pilling would be good.”

“Wool - brilliant - means degradable too (many years from now). British - brilliant - support our country. Soft warmth - brilliant - cosy dozes. Beautiful, natural dyes - brilliant - enhances my colour scheme. We like it!!!”
