About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Fabulous quality, British made blankets at a fair price. We now own a couple of different sized blankets to use outside on cooler summer evenings. They feel like a warming cuddle. We loved them so much, we also bought a picnic blanket.”

“The blanket arrived very promptly and I am over the moon with it. This is not just an ordinary wool rug/blanket but this is an awesome and beautiful British Blanket Company blanket. The quality if fab because it is soft, lush and a great weight. I am so thrilled with it and the colour is spot on as shown on The BBC website. I may even order another for my son's new TV room. Thank you.”

“Having come up with no colour or pattern matches in my usual sources I was so pleased to find The British Blanket Company site. The blanket I chose from the massive selection is a perfect fit. This will be my first and In all likelihood only stop next time I need a blanket or throw.”
