About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I bought this blanket for my son so he could have it to keep him warm now the nights are getting cold, but also as something that he will hopefully have and continue to use as he grows up - it's fantastic to know that the blanket is made in the UK and that it is 100% wool, something particularly important to me when everything seems to be made of polyester and acrylic! I will definitely be buying another blanket soon!”

“It keeps super warm and cosy but be aware that it's real wool, so it smells a bit. I washed it in cold water with vinegar and the smell is gone for now.”

“Lovely blankets, real quality. A little 'hairy' to start but that soon goes. The product is worth 5 stars but they use Royal Mail for delivery, even before the recent strikes Royal Mail were poor”

“What can I say? Delighted with speed of delivery but the blanket is absolutely lovely.I am using it as a sofa throw and the only problem I have with it is resisting the temptation to buy another. Very pleased.”

“I really love this company ! I love the quality of the blankets and throws and the variety of colours are amazing . I would describe as really happy colours . My first blanket I received as a present and I so impressed with the beautiful colours & quality that I have now made several purchases to give as presents as well . “Absolutely love my new blanket. When I'm not using it to keep warm (and it keeps me very warm), it looks great spread across the back of my settee. Delivery was very prompt. It arrived the next day via click-and-collect. Delivery concerns are often what put me off online purchases. Not this time.”
