About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Delightful XL blanket/throw for our bed. Soft and keeps the bed really warm. Colour matches from the photo. Loved it so much have bought our daughter a different colour for her bed for Christmas which also matches the photo online and will go perfectly with her colour scheme.”

“The blanket is amazing quality and a beautiful colour too. The wool is really thick and not scratchy and it is a great size for a large blanket on a sofa or end of a bed. Would buy from here again!”

“The blanket was bought as a gift so I didn't unwrap it. The colour was beautiful but I can't comment on the feel of it. I like that it is made in Britain from British wool and that one is therefore supporting local suppliers and businesses.”
