About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I love the blanket but the large only just covers the bed with no overhang. I’ve order a extra large and will use the current one as a wrap. Also, I’d change the courier from Royal Mail to a more reliable one.”

“I ordered the XL Graphite Grey Supersoft Merino Herringbone Throw and I love it. I had done loads of searching as I wanted a nice dark grey throw for my king size bed, it covers the bed nicely so it's the perfect size. I would say this blanket is top quality and the ordering process and delivery was great.”

“I recently bought two XL wild weave blankets in midnight and dusk blue as we needed throws to protect our sofas from cats and also wanted a colour change. The wild weave blankets are VERY substantial, gorgeously thick and the colour is deep and vibrant. The two colours in the weave give a deep blue, with some warmth in it too. The blankets sit really well in the sofas without falling off and are much higher quality than other blanket throws I've bought elsewhere at a much higher price. So far there's minimal bobbling too compared to other blankets Our cats approve too!”

“Such a beautiful blanket. My 93 year old Aunt is thrilled & so grateful for hers , with one for over her legs & it is really really warm . Thankyou . Despite Strikes , delivered really quickly . Fantastic .don't hesitate to buy any one !”

“I like the ethos of the company and the family team. I purchased the XL Juniper and Moss Green Wildweave Throw. The larger size fits well on a king-size bed. The colours are greener and deeper shades than the website photos. The blanket is light, well-made and warm. The price is reasonable for a quality piece. Delivery was fast. Thank you.”

“Finally after a very long wait of over 3 weeks due to the postal strike my blanket has arrived. I am thrilled, just wish it had been here for the cold weather we had last week. Lessons learned from this, be patient, try to avoid Royal Mail when they are on strike.”
