About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“The website was easy to use and the throw came very quickly. I ordered the throw as a Christmas present, so have not opened it up, but it is certainly looks luxurious and is a lovely colour.”

“Ordered a grey wool blanket as i was having difficulty sourcing one elsewhere. It was for a present for my sons new house to match his colour scheme. Well I wasn’t disappointed, the quality is exceptional and the colour reproduction from screen to product perfect.”

“I ordered two throws as gifts, one in silver grey herringbone and the other in duck egg blue herringbone. They are beautifully soft and luxurious and the quality is obvious. I know the recipients will be delighted with them and I will definitely be ordering one for myself very soon.”

“These blankets are, quite simply, perfect. There is a wide range of colours and the merino wool blankets which I bought are wonderful and soft. They are ideal to cuddle up in when watching TV, and very cosy over a bed for extra warmth. The ordering process is easy, and orders are shipped out really quickly with great efficiency. I have bought blankets both for myself and to give as gifts.”

“I was really pleased with the throw which is to drap over a queensize bed to provide an extra bit of cosiness in the winter. I bought an XL silver grey herringbone which compliments the silvery grey and pale blue colours in the room really well and hangs over the sides of the bed beautifully. I wanted something that was British made and is natural product. I would have loved it to be British wool too but hey, you can't have everything! It arrived quickly with free delivery. It is not super soft but as it was not merino or lambs wool I didnt expect it to be but it is fine as a throw over a duvet. Many thanks BBC!”
